Fit my 17hp briggs perfectly
It works. One can only wonder why they don't sell the little plastic inserts. In any case my motor is up and running like a kitten. It came in an original briggs and stratton parts sealed bag, fyi. Good part good service

Works the way it was meant to
The plate works great and my mower runs better than ever. I do think I may have installed it backwards though because when I get done mowing the grass is taller than before, my children are younger and time in general seems to be going backwards. I considered using this to my advantage to go back and make bets on sporting events from the past but Doc Brown talked me out of it. He told me he'd had experience with this sort of thing before and it never turns out well. I do wish he'd learn to come his hair.
