Allcoat Exterior WB (Gloss Finish) Ready Mixed Colours 1 litre White

This paint was recommended by a painter/decorator who had recently done some work on my property. I asked his opinion on what paint to use for the outside architrave around our porch as the material looked like wood but was, in fact, a very hard plastic which had been painted in the past but the paint was now flaking off. After removing all of the flaky paint, I put on two coats of the Zinsser white gloss and it went on a dream. I also used it on our metal outside wall light that was looking the worse for wear and that, too, went on extremely well and made it look as good as new. I have also used it on the wood around our garage door, which again, has made it look fresh and new. I still have half a tin left, so it goes a long way for a relatively small tin. Great service and packaging of the product so no issues whatsoever. Would highly recommend.

I have become a fan of Zinsser paints. Onecoat is an easy paint to apply with a synthetic brush, covers well and dries quickly for a second coat. I like the fact I do not need an undercoat. I have had some on a south facing wooden vertical facia for a couple of years and it still looks fresh. Washes out of brushes easily and easy to clean spills. I am still old school in respect of preparation before painting and have not tried it on flakey finishes, etc. Fairly price compared to other paints when you realise they are one litre tins.

it was easy to use - just rollered it on the flat plastic roof and it did block out the sun making the lean too more bearable however 2 years later and it does come off with the slightest knock. Stopped wiping it off the same year I applied it to stop it coming off.

The real cost in repainting for me is the total time spent, rather than the materials themselves. This paint is expensive, there's no denying it, but preparation is much quicker, drying time very fast, and the result looks excellent. Previous Zinsser paint has lasted really well for me, so if this is no exception, then it's a true bargain!

Due to circumstances had to use on a really hot day in full sun. Surprised how easy it flowed for water based paint seem to keep a wet edge a little longer than I expected. Managed to get three coats on. Pleases with finish. Glossier than other paints I’ve used. Would definitely use again.

Exterior windows, doors etc. Great product.

Having used this after many other brands, I would us nothing else for painting exterior doors and windows. Minimises preparation, easy to apply, water-based so minimal fumes and easy brush-clean.

I've used Zinsser paints before and found them excellent, especially CoverStain and B.I.N. This is very easy to use and covers well. Use two coats, the first acts as a primer/sealer where needed. I'm not sure if the product picture is of an older offering, but the paint I received matches that on Zinsser's website and claims 15 years protection, not 8 as shown on the product in this listing - which of course is an even better result.
