Durable, large, and double closure!
This is the best turkey brining bag! It is large enough for my 22lb turkey and all the brining ingredients. It is durable and doesn’t break when putting the turkey into the bag. There is a double zip closure that prevents leaking (I have never had it leak). I am thankful the package comes with a bag closure gadget because it doesn’t zip tight with just fingers. You need the blue zipper gadget to get it locked down tight. The turkey is always delicious after brining. Plus, it comes with 2 brining bags! Bonus for next year.

Awesome
Awesome bags! The double zip held securely. The size fit my 20 pound turkeys and could have fit larger. The bag is very durable for the several gallons of brine we poured in.

Finally a product that wasn’t oversold.
Extra large is NOT an exaggeration. I was able to brine two 15# turkeys easily. The plastic is thick and did not disappoint. I can use this on many other items. I would buy these each year but I think these will last me for some time. The only thing I would add an assistive device to zip the bag. Very happy with this purchase.

HUGE
I bought these bags to brine my 23lb. turkey and the bag worked out great. It was enormous with a good flat bottom. The bags also came with twine to tie the legs

Plenty of room for brine and bird!
Last Thanksgiving was almost a catastrophic event when my turkey didn't fit into my brining bucket and barely fit into my vegetable drawer from the fridge (makes for an excellent brining vessel when in a pinch and it's not cracked) and I lost over half of my brine all over the place. Do you know how hard it is to clean up WET celery seeds? 😳 And it's not much fun either. I decided to look for some brining bags since we had a larger bird than last year and my hubby got a 5 gal pickle bucket from a friend that owns a restaurant. I only needed to use 1 bag to hold a 24 lb turkey and 3 gals of brine. I put ice in the bottom of the bucket and placed the sealed bag in with all of that weight in there (surprisingly durable for something that doesn't have the feel of durability), placed an ice pack on the top after letting all of the air out of the bag, then put a lid on the bucket and placed it in a very cold room overnight. When it came time to take it out, I had to leave it set at room temperature for a while because there was still ice in the bucket and it was very cold. The meat will seize up if you put it cold immediately into or onto a screaming hot oven/stove top. If you ever took an ice cold steak out a put it right on a grill or stove top and wondered why it was like shoe leather, that's why. I brine (wet or dry brine) just about every piece protein in cook because it makes everything taste so much better. I have also roasted my turkeys in bags since I first started cooking because that's how my mom and grandma did it. I brine it and I make a butter compound that I put under the skin, legs and breasts then put it in a roasting bag. Tender and juicy every time! I found some Goose size roasting bags on here and they are perfect! I highly recommend these brining bags because they hold a lot of brine and bird (or whatever you want to brine) without splitting and they are at a reasonable price. Thank you for making our holiday a lot easier with the cleanup and convenience. I have one left for my next large brining project.

Thick, waterproof and airtight bag. Great for thanksgiving.
Works great, leak proof and airtight. Thick and who’ll easily hold a 25lbs turkey. Very happy with my purchase and will buy again next year.

Great way to bring and marinate a turkey
I have bought these bags twice now and really love the size and quality. Perfect for brining a turkey. Will never go back to brining in a tub this is so much cleaner.

When They Say Extra Large, They Mean It
These bags are made to properly brine mutant, monstrously large turkeys whose ancestors came from the nuclear fallout of Chernobyl. Any turkey that fills this bag would easily be able to take down a large dog. This bag basically laughed at my 15 pound turkey. It literally said, "Wait, where are the other three turkeys of similar size that you are going to put into me?". There is no turkey known to nature, history, or the Guinness Book of World Records, that would not fit in this bag. Other than that, it works like a bag. It zips up. Then it largely just sits there.

Perfect brine bags!
These are massive!! You could fit at least 20 lb turneys if not three. They are a thick plastic that hold up perfectly to a heavy turkey plus brine. Better then I expected and worth the dollars spent!

Huge! And work for the job
These are absolutely massive! Worked well enough. Came with zipper clips and string with no instructions on how to use but I think it was still fine.

Will make brining SOOOO much easier!
I have been brining my holiday turkey for years. I will never prepare a turkey without a night in brine. Have been brining in a large container for years. Hate that I need to prepare a large amount of liquid, always struggle with finding space in fridge, often need to resort to filling a massive cooler with brine, submerging my turkey then keeping it chilled with ice blocks. This bag has made this whole painful ritual obsolete. I put my turkey (usually approx 20 lbs) into this massive bag (which could accommodate a much bigger turkey), fill it with one batch of brine (around 10 liters or so) then gather up the top of the bag to see if when I squeeze the air out the liquid is sufficient. It usually is, at which point my hubby helps seal the bag with that nifty bag sealer tool. I leave a little gap and do t completely seal as I also “scrunch up” the bag and tie it off, forcing the liquid up and completely submerging the turkey. Once the turkey is fully submerged, we completely seal the bag, pop the bag into a large Rubbermaid “tote” and put in fridge. Next day, I snip a corner of the bag, drain the liquid then remove and rinse the bird as usual. This bag has made my turkey ritual a breeze, and I will always buy these bags, they are thick, massive and really big. At this point in time, the price for the two bags ($16 cad) is totally worth it. Less fuss, no mess and easy cleanup…. All very important to me when cooking a massive dinner for a bunch of family.
