Brilliant family game for all ages!
Outsmarted is a fantastic game! We don’t tend to use the board and instead play it on the iPad and TV, which works really well and keeps everything simple. We had lots of fun over Christmas playing with our teenage children and elderly parents. It’s great how the game suits all ages. The mix of questions and challenges keeps everyone involved and competitive without being too complicated. You can also choose the speed if the game! Highly recommend for family get-togethers. Great fun and plenty of laughs.

Great family game!
This game was recommended to me by a work colleague. Its fantastic. The questions are so up to date that we were answering questions that were in the news 3 days ago! We have family over 200 miles away but with this game you get a code to share so you can play others remotely on your mobiles and on smart TV’s. We played as a family this week and enjoyed it so much we are going to make it a weekly event! Add-on questions are available so you can add categories. The game can be set up so different aged players can get questions that relate to them. You can also play games of different lengths depending on how long you want to play. I cannot recommend it enough and so glad I bought it.

Brilliant game, but I’m still being ’Outsmarted’ 🤔 🤪 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Following on from comments made by others, I must wholeheartedly agree—Outsmarted is a truly fabulous game. It expertly balances traditional quiz fun with modern features. The questions are exceptionally well-written, often wonderfully quirky, and we particularly love the learning experience—getting a clear explanation for the answer, whether you were right or wrong, is brilliant. The most revolutionary feature, however, is the remote play facility. We use other great apps, like Karafun, that allow everyone to 'hook in' on their phones in the same room, but Outsmarted goes a step further. It excels at being a fun, in-person game while simultaneously allowing friends and family to play together seamlessly, whether they are in the same room or spread out all over the country. With the Unlimited Pack subscription, finding categories that genuinely appeal to everyone is an absolute breeze. This game has become a staple for us. If we could give it six stars out of five, we absolutely would.

Great game
I have been thinking of getting this for the past 3 years and have held off as I thought it would be another game sat in a cupboard. Well I finally took the plunge and bought it and I am so pleased I did. Such a great game and something that the whole family and more can enjoy. Also great if you have friends or family that live fare away as they can still play with the family. No extras needed but you can buy more quiz packs. Hours of fun and easy to set up.

Lots of fun for all the family
We were looking for family board games to play, Outsmarted fitted the bill because it allowed our teenage daughter to still use her phone which has become surgically attached to her hand. It's fun to play and allows the configuration of players in order to target the level of difficulty of each. I really like how upto date the questions are and the ability to purchase extra question packs at a reasonable price is also a bonus. I think there are possible improvements that could be made in the software, such as being able to extend the game duration if it runs out. Another improvement could be the option in the software to limit players to number of questions they can answer in a row, or if after answering a ring question play passes to another player. Other than those minor gripes, it's a great and simple game, which is well executed in the software.

Super quiz game for all the fam, download the app
This was a great buy for the family, we are still enjoying it way after Xmas and will continue to . You can have a long or short game any time, any place. You just download the app on your phone. The main player has a code which you share with the person or people playing. If you like a good quiz game then this is your thing.

Interactive board game
absolute brilliant game I purchased it for the family to play during our games session at Christmas - variety of ages from early 20s to 90!!! My daughter set it up, but she said it was very easy to do- and apparently you can alter the difficulty of the questions, depending on the age of the player- you could also play in teams.. we played it on my iPad and moved the pieces around the physical board . ( although I believe it can be played on any compatible device ) I would highly recommend this for all different age groups... We all had great fun. I should imagine it would be very good for people that live some distance apart and want to get together to play a game because it can be played independently away from the person by the main board There are a huge variety of questions and I believe you can purchase different packs with more questions !! ( if you ever run out !!)

Great family game
Such a fun game and a real hit with everyone and wt have a range of different ages. It’s super easy to set up and we love how it connects to the app and the TV, which makes it feel really interactive and modern. You can play on the real board or in the app. You can also play with players in different locations, which we really enjoyed and made it perfect over Christmas and New Year when not everyone was together. Great mix of questions, lots of laughs and friendly competition. We’ve played it loads already and it never gets boring. Would definitely recommend 👍

This game is great for playing with friends and family remotely. It can be played with everyone together in one room as well, but so can a million different trivia games. What makes this unique is the ability to let others join the game and play with you remotely. They do NOT need to have their own version of the game. A code pops up for you to give to them and they can play via a free app on their phone or tablet. We have family all in various locations and have had so much fun playing this together with them. Basics of the game: It is very similar to trivial pursuit in concept. You move around the board answering trivia questions based on the categories you choose. We got the Ultimate Edition because it came with more categories, but you can actually buy a new category for $3.49 (at the time of writing this) in their online store. We also already won a free one from a "Golden Question" they asked at the end of our game. Variety and Choices: In Trivial Pursuit you have to complete all categories to get to the final challenge. In this game, you can choose to complete two categories (called rings) or four or six. You choose when you set it up. You can choose how it is handled in terms of timing attempts, bonus play, turning on assists like in 50/50, skip the question, and extra time. You can turn these things on or off and control how many assists are given to each team. It also allows you to select the age group (child, teen, and adult) of a player to make the questions fit their age range better. Electronic device not optional: When you see the pictures of the game, you see the board and player pieces, and dice. That sort of implies you can play without using an electronic device like a phone or tablet. You cannot. The questions come from the device. You can do all the rolling and moving around the board on the pieces in the box or using the app, but you can only do the questions and submit answers on the device using the game app (which is free). You only need one device to play it and you can easily mirror your device to a TV for better group viewing though. I got this game to play remotely with people so this feature didn't bother me, but it might bother others. If you are looking for a traditional sit around a board and read questions and answer trivia game, this is not that. The good part is that the questions are very up-to-date and you can add new question packs over time since it is app based. Final Thoughts: Very much recommend for playing remotely with others. Also recommend for everyone in a room together as long as you understand you will need to use a tablet or phone to do the questions and submitting answers. Would not recommend if you are looking for a traditional sit around the table trivia game.
