Cervical traction thats mobile
I have had another cervical traction contraption and lost a piece when I moved. I looked to find a replacement part when I came across this one. It is so much better than the other one. It is soft, mobile and would travel in a suitcase very well. I dont know if there is an up or down, right or wrong way to place it but I have the lettering on a strap up where it can be read so thats what I am going with. The roller clamp and bulb are on my left side. I would not recommend taking the bulb off the end of the rubber tubing as it is tough to get on, so keep it in place. It takes a lot of pumping to get it inflated so just let some air out between uses using the roller clamp. Close the dial on the bulb and the roller clamp to keep it inflated while using and let a little air out to take it off and store for the next use. Then close the roller clamp if you are going to use soon to keep it aired up. I tried to pump it up all the way but it was WAY too much so inflate to your comfort. I do like that I can sit and watch tv or rate a product on my laptop and am not tethered to a pully system. And the price is much more affordable than some I have seen. I am pleased with the purchase.

This is an indispensable tool.
My chiropractor told me these were junk. And only foolish people waste their money on them. He warned me... "DO NOT buy one!!" He then ridiculed me for even asking about it. When I was leaving that day, he followed me to the door, talking trash the whole way. So, obviously, I ordered one immediately. This device has been life changing. If my nerve gets pinched I can start treating it immediately. No more making appointments and going in a day or two later for neck traction. I can accomplish more in a day with this than the chiropractor was doing for me in 2 months. I bought a second unit, one to keep at home and one to carry with me at all times. I haven't been back to see the chiropractor in about 8 months. A+++++

If you need this, it is a lifesaver! Make sure you check with your doctor!
This is our 2nd one of these. the first one lasted about 3 years before the seam ripped out the side. Some people leave negative reviews, and if you haven't gotten a proper diagnosis, from a doctor, please do NOT use this type of device! I have spinal stinosis, and for me, it was harmful! My husband, on the other hand, has cervicobrachial syndrome, and for him, it was helpful. You have to have the right diagnosis in order for it to be the right device for you. For him, when he is having a flare up, this device will get him through the night until we can get him into the chiropractor. It is very effective. If you don't need it to stretch your cervical joints, however, then it might make things worse. Spinal stinosis patients should NOT be using this device ( ask me how i know!)

Works great!
My mom is getting Physical Therapy for her cervical spine and the DPT that is treating her recommended this exact brand and device. Itโs affordable treatment that can be done at home and it will help with her getting used to traction. Manual decompression is too intense and this has been working great so far. I made sure to read the instructions and I was weary after reading the reviews however I can confidently say this works. As long as you donโt over pump it you should be good. I donโt see how anyone would want it pumped all the way because it does get quite intense. I tried it on myself and had to take it off after 3 minutes. The instructions have you wear it for 5-10 minutes which I have my mom doing 1-2x a day and is working fantastic. This is also helping me get some practice since I am currently in DPT school myself. Overall very happy with my purchase

Effective but a bit bulky
As a physiotherapist, I find this cervical traction device helpful for relieving neck tension and improving posture. Itโs easy to use at home, though a bit bulky to store. Overall, a solid tool for patients needing gentle traction.
