Will these batteries work with 60 volt flex volt only tools

Hello, No the DCBP034-2 are not compatible with the 60V Flexvolt tools

Can i use my old 20v charger with the new power stack batteries?

Yes, all 20V DEWALT chargers are compatible with all 20V DEWALT batteries.

Why is this battery garbage?

I could be wrong but it looks like they use lithium polymer battery like the same kind that's in your phone, the old batteries used top of the line Samsung 18650's and almost anyone with a good spot welder can rebuild them. I'm guessing DeWalt powerstack is an attempt for dewalt to prevent ppl from being able to rebuild their own batteries easily so that you have to pitch it out when it goes.
