Easy Termination of Ethernet Cables
These are excellent. I've tried putting RJ45 connectors on a cable and it's a bit of a faff. With these it's much simpler. Cut another cable in half, bare the wires, and slot them in. As long as the colours match on both sides (the slots are numbered: 1s Greens, 2s Green/Whites, 3s Oranges, etc.) you've extended a cable! No need to worry about the formal ethernet layout. So much easier!

fiddly
these are quite fiddly to use, you need a special tool to insert wire into the terminals ( you may be able to do it with something thin but not recommended)

The do NOT work.
I purchased these with the pro tool for pushing the cables in correctly so that I could fix damage to a long ethernet cable.. All went well except when tested not one of the connections worked. After a bit of 'working it out' I realised the cables were not being cut through to the metal when pushed into the "brackets' with the pro tool so there was no signal on any of them. Not one of the connections worked. Useless. Went back to using RJ45's which was a faff putting on but at least they work. ODnt waste your money on these things.
