Westin White Tea Reed Diffuser - Home Fragrance Set with Signature White Tea Scent - 5 oz.

Thank you to others that posted a review about throwing out the 'reeds' and leveraging the oil like you would an essential oil into a aromatherapy-type diffuser. I carefully took the oil out of the unit and put it into a sealed glass dropper bottle so that I could control how much oil I used since it's so strong. This stuff is pricey, so I treat it like I would perfume - not every day, but when guests are over I put a few drops with the water into my diffuser and it smells like you're walking into a Westin! If you are giving as a gift, it really is boxed and packaged beautifully.

Im addicted to the scent in the Westin and Ritz hotels. Had been looking for something like this forever. I don't really care for these reed diffusers as they never seem to put out enough scent. Don't get me wrong, I don't want my house to smell where you get knocked over when you enter. However, you almost have to be up next to it to get an idea it's even a diffuser. I'll try a different mode of transfer next time, which they also carry. All that said................it's spot on to the smell inside the Westin. (can't tell about longevity, I've only had it a couple weeks)

Okay, I agree, the price is steep; but the fragrance is strong and really fills up the room it is in. I haven't noticed it fading either. I'm a sucker for Westin White Tea because it reminds me of all the Westin Resort properties. You don't walk into the lobby of any of them without White Tea filling the air. It makes me feel like I'm on vacation everytime I walk near it. Save your pennies and get yourself some. I absolutely adore it!

No Smell- even in a very very small bathroom.. you can barely smell it even when you get close to it. Also oil appears very watery and doesn’t really smell like a Westin. I suspected I got a prior return as the box that it was shipped in looked like it had seen better days! Complete waste of money.

The oil is great! The diffuser method is disappointing. The reeds barely gave fragrance to my small bedroom. So instead I bought a mist essential oil diffusor to use with the oil. It works great, and spreads the smell much better around the room. Plus, the mist diffuser only takes a few drops of the White Tea oil to spread the smell. so it last a really long time. I'll definitely order this product again...and throw away the reeds when they get here.

It smells nice, however for those of you wondering how it works out in an steam diffuser: 1. It’s not a concentrated oil so you have to use a lot more....as in about a tablespoon to get the same effect as 5 drops of pure essential oil 2. The scent does not project particularly well as a reed diffuser or in a steam diffuser 3. It DOES WORK in a steam diffuser without any adverse issues. I haven’t broken my machine using this stuff in it. Overall, I really wish Westin would make a concentrated oil specifically for a steam diffuser. The scent is lovely but I have a very large home and filling it with this scent using 4 spaced out diffusers still didn’t do the trick. Considering how much I must use to project the scent, the cost simply isn’t worth it.

I have been hooked on this scent (the "official" scent of Westin properties) since 2002 when the wonderful aroma first hit my senses in Palm Springs. It is intoxicating and relaxing and I love that I can replicate the spa-like atmosphere in my own home.
