The XREAL Air 2 Pro AR Glasses are simply futuristic! I’ve been using them primarily with my phone and laptop, and they deliver a level of immersion that’s unparalleled. Here’s why I’m thrilled: 1. Crystal Clear Visuals: The clarity and resolution are exceptional, making it feel like you have a personal cinema or a massive monitor in front of you. Whether gaming or watching Netflix, the experience is phenomenal. 2. Electrochromic Lens: The built-in electrochromic technology is a game-changer. Switching between transparency levels is seamless, letting me use the glasses indoors and outdoors without any hassle. 3. Comfortable Design: The lightweight build ensures hours of comfortable wear. I was worried about strain, but the glasses feel great even during extended sessions. 4. Easy Compatibility: Setup was a breeze. I love how versatile they are, working flawlessly with my Steam Deck, phone, and laptop. 5. Next-Level AR Features: The AR functionality is intuitive and futuristic. It makes multitasking and productivity incredibly fun and efficient. Overall very satisfied!

I`ll try to be short and touch on the issues that bothered me mostly. Blurry edges...Either my model was bad, my eyes suck or this is just the norm. I`m inclined to believe the latter. In all honesty, most of that is not noticeable while watching movies. But the moment you want to do anything else, you can`t see the edges of your screen. totally weird. To work around that, you need to get the Beam Pro, which will allow you to anchor the screen..but that thing is yet another device and to buy that JUST to have this feature, is crazy. NO 3D out of the box. Forget all the fancy youtube reviews...I spent well over 6 hours trying to get 3d to work and it's just NOT WORKING. No Widescreen, not even with the Beam... I'm extremely disappointed, honestly..

I've only had this for less than 24 hours and the problems I've encountered are not ones that I'm willing to work through. The Nebula app on Android isn't available on the Google Play or Samsung stores on my Galaxy S24 Ultra. It is available as an APK, but it does nothing useful. The AR portion of the app simply goes to a black screen both on the phone and the glasses. The mirroring works, but Nebula isn't needed for that. Finding support for this is really just through Reddit forums. The only thing useful to me were the mirroring and the Samsung Dex desktop. Samsung Dex through the glasses is a little underwhelming though since the screen real estate isn't large enough (it's a 1920x1080 desktop that floats with your head movement, not a large static desktop where you can look around). Phone mirroring is just your phones screen mirrored through the glasses (also note that the phone's screen is always on and showing the same content, which is what "mirroring" is, but it would be nice to turn off the screen like when watching fullscreen Netflix, etc.). Nebula on Mac hardly works, I only managed to get screen extension working once and it was hardly usable for productivity work. There used to be some sort of AR Labs, wher third party apps could be used, but those no longer work. Without the app, it functions like the phone, simply a mirror (or single screen extension) of the Mac that floats with your head. Nebula on Windows... doesn't exist. The Windows app has been "coming soon" for years apparently. If you have astigmatism or any other condition that makes your eyes' focus unequally, any text will be difficult to read. You could wear glasses with this I guess. I could not use this for productivity with the floating screen modes. On the Steam Deck it seems to work ok, but beware that if the Steam Deck battery drops low enough (30% maybe), the ports shutdown or go into some sort of low power mode and then the glasses disconnect. You will need to use the adapter to charge Steam Deck and connect glasses at the same time. On the Switch, it often glitches for a second or two, and a long horizontal black bar appears. It feels as if it gets out of sync for a few seconds. Audio also degrades each time. On the positive side, the image is very good. I do find the vertical area is slightly narrower than I would like though. I sometimes need to shift the glasses to see the top or bottom edges of the image clearly. I would say, avoid this if you want to use it for productivity. For gaming, it may be hit or miss.
