Mother Earth Perlite Natural, Size 3 Large and Coarse, 4 cu. ft.

Both, sizes 3 and 4 are outstanding for mixing your own mineral based potting medium. They are the only truly chunky perlite that I have been able to find on the market. They provide great permeability/aeration for fruit trees and are heavy enough so that they don't all float to the top when you water. I've used them in 25 gallon containers with mango and avocado trees and after three years, there's been no compaction. I wish I purchased 10 more bags of this before price hikes made this untenable.

Best perlite I've bought, nice and corse and chunky. Priced very well for the quanity.

Exactly as promoted, and although it is expensive it is worth having the correct size. Well worth the money for the correct size.

I clearly didn't know how to translate the size! When I received it, I was shocked it was larger than my 45lb bags of dog food 😂 Great price and great product. I'm thrilled!

You cant go wrong with with Mother Earth products. this size perlite is essential for my Cycad cultivation

Large perlite and very minimal dust. This is the one.

I use it all year long to amend potting soil. Good size perlite

Good-sized perlite, but the bag was completely opened, rolled up, and taped closed, indicating it was used. While I can’t confirm if any perlite is missing, the extent of the opening suggests some is likely lost. I expect a new, unopened bag with all contents, not a used, opened one. Despite the quality and size of the perlite, the open bag is disappointing. I recommend NorCal perlite due to the open bag and better value. If the bag wasn’t open, I might have recommended this brand for larger perlite, which is worth the extra cost, but not if you receive a used bag.
