Great quality display! The screen looks clear and bright, just like the original. Installation was easy and everything works perfectly. Highly recommend!

It is rare that I rate products 1 star, but unfortunately this one has earned it. The resolution is half of the original. The colors are washed out, the viewing angle is quite bad, and the blacks will wash out and invert at certain angles. The installation was not that hard, but this screen was missing many of the gaskets/seals that were present on the original. Also missing were some conductive pads. The vibration motor and the earpiece speaker need to be moved over from the original screen, the motor was super easy, but since the earpiece speaker is adhered to the original screen, I completely destroyed it trying to remove it. The glass is not durable, and even in just a couple of minutes between removing the plastic from the front of the screen and installing the glass screen protector it already had microscratches. Also, the hole in the screen for the proximity sensor is not present on this replacement! There is a pocket for the sensor to fit in, but it does not allow light to pass through it, so the proximity sensor does not work! Most importantly of all, the chipset that drives the display gets very hot! This is potentially dangerous as it could heat the battery to dangerous levels, and it also ruins battery life. my phone dropped 5% in about 15 minutes of use, which was not the case with the original screen. OEM parts are often way overpriced, but in this case, it's worth the money. This display is cheap, yes, but it is so bad I want my money back.

This replacement screen $17 was a lot cheaper than the local phone repair shop ($128). I wish it included a razor blade and the mini screwdriver was magnetic. There are several YouTube videos showing exactly how to transfer the electronics from your old frame to this new one. It took me about 2 hours total. A razor blade like the kind scrapers use is handy for removing the back panel. I used a hair dryer to heat up the panel first so the glue softened up. Take your time and don't rush. The hardest part is removing the battery pack from the old phone. It is glued in there very snug. Thankfully the battery wrapper has a pull tab. I just grabbed the tab and pulled as hard I could. Slowly it pulled away from the old frame. You will need to pop out and remove the speaker in the lower left of your old frame and the mic in the lower right. Transfer them like for like to your new frame. Luckily I already had a magnetic jeweler screwdriver. It makes reattaching all of those tiny screws a lot easier. I recommend this kit if your screen is cracked !

This screen will fit a Samsung A16, but it is not an exact replacement. It's not as bright, and the colors are slightly off. It also has a larger black border around the outside edge of the glass, by about 2mm. It's enough to see it and say, was that black border always that big. The screen itself is a little thicker than the factory screen, so it doesn't sit flush with the frame when it's all put back together. My case still fit on the phone though, so it's not noticeable. The screen is built into the front frame, so you'll be replacing more of your phone than you thought. This screen does not come with any of the little components that fit into the frame. so you'll also be pulling those out of your old frame and installing them in this one. Be gentle or those components can be damaged. This screen does not come with replacement adhesive to put the phone back together when you are done. so have some double sided tape handy. Lastly, when charging, this screen doesn't really turn off. It's like the backlight is on, but the screen is black. In a dark room you can see the screen is on and black. All that being said, the screen works. It's not cracked like my old one. It seems to register where I'm touching the screen correctly.

Perfect screen replacement for a Samsung A16 phone. It was a lot of work to get this changed out but I managed it after watching youtube tutorials. If you have a heat gun that will help immensely as this phone has way too much adhesives.

Need to get a screen protector for it. The screen is very flimsy. Also it is much thicker and won't fit properly in a case. After some weeks the screen will start phantom touching where you aren't touching it but it keeps acting like you are. It stops typically after locking the screen.

Product worked perfectly! I recommend following along with the iFixit guide for a good step by step repair process. Aside from that, the screen works great, it’s vibrant and in some ways works better than the original. The durability will be tested as I use it, as will the scratch resistance. Overall great replacement screen, would recommend!

This is a terrible product. A waste of money. They color is off, there are more green pixels in the screen. The screen is a tiny bit bigger than it should be, making it feel wierd and not lock properly after closing the phone after repair. The glass is as durable as screen protector. It broke after one fall. After using the screen for about 3 weeks, it broke entirely, and out of no where. Lastly, it has very slow touch response time.

Used this to replace my grandmother's phone screen and got it back in great condition in a few minutes with this.

Color is a bit off from OEM. It works for the most part. Have had "freeze screen", and times where it would hold buttons that I was not touching. Works for now.
