For the GT-1000 12 we have taken a focused approach to modernise the shape and increase comfort. It is designed for an active lifestyle and is functional for running or gym workouts. The shoe has been rethought with a soft mesh upper, a new heel shape and a more comfortable insole. In addition, these features are combined with a tongue construction that helps to ensure a supportive fit. LITETRUSS technology is positioned in the inner corner of the midsole, in order to reduce pronation. Helps ensure a more sustained stride, while keeping overpronation at bay.

Great for Morton’s neuroma
They have helped relieve my Morton’s neuroma. I was recommended these shoes by my podiatrist and he was right. I bought an Amazon return and had no issue and saved a lot of money. The white color was very nice for the summer. My feet did not get overheated wearing them in the hot weather.

So cushioned!
My husband and I have a tradition- when we go backpacking over the summer, we buy coordinating shoes. My shoes are pictured on the left. I replaced the laces with brighter neon yellow laces.I am no longer a runner, but these have a lot of cushion, even the cushion around the ankles and heels. Some runners like that, some don't. They're very well ventilated so nice for the summertime, maybe not so much in the winter. Like 90% of the Asics I get, they're perfect out of the box meaning no break in time. They look great on my big feet. I can't really comment on the durability, but looking at the treads right now, it doesn't look like they wear down very easily. However, I would say the toe box can get stained pretty easily. I've already popped 'em in the washer and not all of the marks on the tips of the toes came out.Still, I would order these again for sure.

Love these shoes
I wear a 9 wide and I feel like these are pretty close to a true fit. Just a tad tight around the toes but I first purchased a 9.5 wide and they were too big.I’ve been wearing ASICS for many years but this is my first pair that I didn’t have to break in. They are incredibly comfortable and they look great. They are easy to slip-on. Great for power walking or running.

It is hard to find black running shoes with black sole. ASICS is the brand for me: right arch support, breathable, a hug to my feet. It is always hard to get full black sole.
