Lightweight, very clear display and good level of customisation with brightness, font size and warmth of colour which really helps night time reading. The kindle feels well built and I'd be confident taking it out and about with me that it could withstand being dropped. I can see the battery will last weeks, but to be honest I pop it on charge at my bedside every week so battery never an issue. I'm really happy with the kindle, I think it's great value for money given it's convenience and build quality.

This Kindle is amazing. Light to hold, good size screen and excellent long lasting battery. As an avid reader I was worried about switching from books to a Kindle but it was the best decision I ever made. Storage capacity is exceptional. I would highly recommend this Kindle

I absolutely love my kindle, it’s my first ever one & I’m so impressed. It’s compact, lightweight, responsive to touch, and high quality. The text clarity is perfect and you can adjust the screen brightness according to your preference. Download speed is fast. I got the one with ads and they are no bother at all, they actually recommend books based on the books I’m reading, and they don’t disturb when you’re actually reading. I love so much that I can now read in a darkened room, my favourite. I am already reading more than usual. I love the pink colour as well. I’m really glad that I decided to treat myself to a kindle after much deliberation.

Got this and have never done any reading for years. I have read more since buying this and helps get to sleep at night. Can change brightness ect and easy to setup. Seems to be good deals on books on offer and can also load your own pdf files on but they don't look as good as the ones from store since size is sometimes not right on page format. Works with the audio books but I only tried one and prefer the reading ones. Much better than a tablet for the screen and longer battery life. Screen is great and less eye strain due to being different to TV or laptop. Quite expensive which is why I gave 4 star not 5 since many people will buy books from Amazon so they will have a revenue stream from the books that people buy. I did get on discount but still expensive imo

Great value for money. Has great storage. Pages turn very quickly and great light adjustment (manually) and light warmth adjustment too.

Gorgeous colour, with intense reading (more than 3 hours a day) id say the battery actually lasts more around 10-14 days which is still great. Being able to change to brightness and whiteness of the screen really helps reduce eye strain and fatigue. So much storage space and lightweight. The screen size is perfect as its close to a book page size whereas the standard kindle screens are a fraction too small in my opinion. The access to the store is really quick and simple. I recommend putting airplane mode on to save some battery when you dont need to download or use the store. Easy to connect to the wifi and great value for money as the books are so much cheaper than the physical copies. Kindle unlimited came with it for 3 months for me and very much worth it as was lots of new and popular books are included. Easy to read in all lighting, bright sunlight or pitch black

I've been a Kindle man since the very first one, my last one lasted 8 years, hundreds of bumps and being trodden on severally by my children. This new generation is a step up, faster scrolling, optimised light and crisper and clearer pages. I can't fault it at all.

Had my old kindle for 12 years and was very happy with it, it has always been reliable and I could not do without it as I am an avid reader specially at night as I have trouble sleeping, recently it has become very slow so I decided to upgrade, I am so glad I did, I am so happy with my new kindle it is fast and has a clear screen that is easy reading, you can change the ambience to suit your eyes, I would certainly recommend it if you are thinking of upgrading and like me need an easy to use reliable source of reading.

Gesamteindruck & Einordnung Diesen Amazon Kindle Paperwhite habe ich 2025 meiner Mutter geschenkt (ich selber bin Kindle-Nutzer seit 2013). Meiner Meinung nach ist er ein perfekter E-Reader und vereint alle bekannten Kindle-Vorteile in einem modernen Gerät. Leseerlebnis Das entspiegelte Display ist sehr angenehm für die Augen und eignet sich hervorragend für langes Lesen – sowohl bei hellem Sonnenlicht als auch abends im Bett. Die integrierte Beleuchtung ist gleichmäßig und unaufdringlich. Gewicht & Handhabung Der Kindle ist leicht, gut ausbalanciert und lässt sich problemlos einhändig halten – auch über längere Zeit. Gerade das macht ihn für mich deutlich angenehmer als Tablets. Akku & Laden Die Akkulaufzeit ist sehr gut und hält problemlos mehrere Wochen (je nach Nutzung). Geladen wird bequem per USB-C, was schnell und unkompliziert ist. Alltag & Fokus Was ich am Kindle besonders schätze: keine Ablenkung durch Push-Nachrichten, Apps oder E-Mails – der Fokus liegt komplett auf dem Lesen. Meine Mutter nutzt ihn leider nur gelegentlich, da sie zum Lesen lieber ihr iPad verwendet (u. a. wegen Skoobe und der Möglichkeit zu surfen oder Mails zu lesen). Das ist Geschmackssache – ich persönlich liebe genau diese Reduktion beim Kindle. Fazit Ein hervorragender E-Reader mit tollem Display, geringem Gewicht, sehr guter Akkulaufzeit und komfortabler USB-C-Lademöglichkeit. Ideal für alle, die bewusst, konzentriert und ohne Ablenkung lesen möchten.

Je me suis offert cette Kindle Paperwhite et je l’utilise au quotidien : je ne peux plus m’en passer ! Elle est hyper pratique, légère et facile à transporter partout, ce qui rend tous mes trajets beaucoup plus agréables, surtout à Paris. Je lis beaucoup plus qu’avant, et ajouter de nouveaux livres est un jeu d’enfant. L’écran antireflets rend la lecture confortable, même en plein soleil, et l’autonomie est vraiment impressionnante : je n’ai quasiment jamais besoin de le recharger. J'ai les yeux souvent secs le soir et pourtant, j'arrive à lire sans problème sur ma Kindle. Pour moi, c’est un indispensable pour tous ceux qui aiment lire régulièrement.
