A great toothpaste that has helped me stop and reverse the progression of early gingivitis. The flavor and scent is clean and pleasant. The paste foams up well and does not feel gritty at all like some other stannous fluoride toothpastes. A nice additional bonus is effective help with sensitivity. I switched over from a whitening sodium monofluorophosphate based toothpaste. This old toothpaste was better at whitening my teeth than the stannous fluoride Crest toothpaste. However the catch is that these active ingredient toothpastes do not kill the germs in your mouth that can lead to gingivitis. Since the switch, my dentist has said my gums are now healthy! Personally I'd rather have teeth into old age than have the whitest teeth!

Love this toothpaste! This toothpaste is not harsh or rough on my teeth. Good clean flavor. I do believe that it is healthy for my gums and teeth! This three pack is a great value compared to prices at the stores!

I’ve been using Crest Pro-Health Gum Detoxify Plus Toothpaste for quite a while now, and it’s the one toothpaste I keep coming back to. It leaves my mouth feeling incredibly clean and refreshed long after I brush, which is something I haven’t found with other brands. I’m also a big coffee drinker, so keeping my teeth looking white is important to me. This toothpaste has done a great job helping to maintain the whiteness of my teeth despite my daily coffee habit. Another big plus is the taste. It’s pleasant without being overpowering, and the overall brushing experience is excellent. I’ve tried several other toothpastes over the years, but none have given me the same lasting fresh feeling. That’s the main reason I continue to buy this product, and I highly recommend it.

This toothpaste is incredible and I’m sad it took me my whole life to find and use it. I’m 33. I was using crest 3d brilliance which is amazing for whitening. It’s the only non gritty fresh toothpaste that actually whitens. My teeth were white but my gums started to bleed a little, it wouldn’t go away. So I switched to this toothpaste and I forgot about the gum bleeding. I realized a few days ago that it’s gone! Been using it for a few months now. But it, it’s worth every penny.

If your dentist states you need something to help gums, this toothpaste is pretty good. It also doesn't taste terrible.

Pros/Cons: Great mild flavor, I like how it feels both while I'm brushing and how my teeth feel afterwards. The cleaning power foams a lot if you brush for as long as they suggest (2 minutes) before I have to spit some of it out in the sink to continue brushing, but that's likely part of why it does a good job of getting in between your teeth and below the gumline. One of the best reasons I like this is that it actually stands up on its' own! The flip-top cap is easy to use, flat and is sturdy, which doesn't take up so much space on my countertop. Plus, the toothpaste is always at the cap when you need it, and doesn't need to be rolled up as you use it. It has fluoride, which I personally prefer as the one time I switched to one that didn't have it my teeth deteriorated at my 3 month dental checkup drastically. Since then, I have had great checkups with no cavities and much improved gum health. My next checkup will be in less than 4 months and I'll update this review at that time. I would give it 5 stars right now, but I've only been using it for a week and want to see how well it works over time. My teeth and mild gingivitis have improved wonderfully since I've been using a dentist prescribed mouthwash along with fluoride toothpastes. I never swallow toothpaste because of the well-known risks. For this reason, I do not recommend this or any fluoride toothpaste for younger children. It's rather expensive, but at my very senior age, all of my teeth and gums are healthy and intact so I consider good dental health to be essential in my budget! It's definitely a good value for overall health as we get older, too. UPDATED - JANUARY, 2026: Okay, as promised, I have had my dental checkup exam and my Dentist was impressed with how well my teeth, sensitivity, and gums are doing. He said "keep up the good work!" and I've updated this review from 4 stars to 5 stars now. If anything changes, I'll return and let you all know, but I'm confident that this is the best choice for me based upon my results. I generally do brush my teeth twice a day, but I'm most consistent (99%) with the bedtime routine. Most of the time, I brush for at least one minute, not two minutes as they suggest. It feels so good and leaves your mouth clean and breath sweet.

I have struggled with bad breath for decades, I did some serious research and found that my condition may have been linked to my mouth bacteria. After brushing and using mouthwash my breath and mouth would be ok for a few minutes and then it would feel incredibly dry, regardless of how much water I drank, then after an hour, the bad breath would kick in. I've checked for tonsil stones, scraped my tongue and checked for a GERD doagnosis. Nothing panned out. I've also had really bad canker sores since I was a teenager and nothing helped. Then with two weeks of using this toothapaste it all stopped, everything, caker sores, bad breath, dry mouth and coated tongue. It just stopped. This three pack has lasted me about 2 and half months, my partner loves this also because it makes her tetth really white. It is a lovely products, I'm orderindg 6 more right now.
