ORCISH Upgrade 3500 lb 12V DC Electric Winch, ATV/UTV Winch Kit for Towing, 1/4"×30' Synthetic Rope with Both Wireless Handheld Remote and Corded Control Recovery, Easy Assembly Winches

I mounted on golf cart in the rear, it took me an about four hours. I brought a snatch hook with it so that I could pull a very large hibiscus stump about 150-200lbs. See video. I also use it to pull out some hibiscus large 6 foot tall whole so I could replant them elsewhere. I had to put extra weight in/on the golf cart because it slides it’s so light. I used the plants that I was planting for this project. Because I had nowhere to anchor it. The remote works well but you have hold the on button for a few seconds first then the in/out buttons. After not using it for about five minutes or so you have to do it again. Reading the instructions was easy although it seemed like they were saying that it’s not very powerful it is.

Wired it up and nothing. No in or out. No noises at all. I tried it hooked to multiple different 12V batteries. Neither the switch or the remote get a reaction. **vendor sent new winch, will update review if new one works.** 3/19/2026 - new winch works, updating to 5 stars. Customer service was great.

Super value and tons of torque. I mounted this on my 700lb zero turn mower and wired. It was easy to mount using a drill, the mounting plate and hardware were provided. My zero turn mower was stuck in deep mud at bottom of a hill after rain, the winch pulled it up the hill sideways with ease, using the remote. This would be a great addition to any ATV UTV and definitely has the power to pull it out of probably any situation. I was concerned about 30 ft rope instead of cable but it holds like steel.

Mounted this on a boom to lift logs vertically so I could slide a trailer under. Max lift was 1000 pounds. It lasted 3 days. The synthetic rope worked its way from the drum into the engage/free selector switch area and broke the winch. I emailed customer service. They responded to me within one hour and offered me a free upgrade to the 4500 pound winch and explained what could have went wrong (possibly lifting vertical with it or synthetic line spooled up on one side of the drum instead of being spread out evenly).

This winch is in line with my expectations. For the price point it feels slightly more sturdy than expected. The mounting holes are slightly off squared, so in order to mount to my winch mount (factory mount on Can Am defender), I had to drill out the holes on my mount to accommodate it. It’s set up well for easy wiring. I will be using the wired switch. The remotes feel pretty jenky. I was neither disappointed nor impressed. It’s what I expected.
