TBTeek Butane Torch with Fuel Gauge T907, One-hand Operation Kitchen Torch Lighter with Adjustable Flame for BBQ, Baking, Brulee Creme, Crafts and Soldering(Butane Gas Not Included)

This little kitchen torch performs as well as much more expensive models. This even comes with the adapter to use short nozzle butane canisters to refill this torch. The self ignitor works well, the fuel capacity is adequate I have not used a single tank yet. I was able to use it to make an old fashioned by toasting brown sugar on an orange, and then able to use it to help sear the sides of a steak so it is a very versatile device. The unit fits well in the hand and is very easy to use.

I've been cooking for decades and never owned a kitchen torch. My daughter likes to experiment in the kitchen and she has about every tool you can imagine. She's been using a touch for years and convinced me to get one when I served cremé brulée one night. Well, the sales were on, so why not. We shopped the various options and the features on this one are the best of the cut. It's also cute in an industrial looking kind of way. I have small hands, this torch is small enough to handle very comfortably. It requires very little effort to light it up. On that note, I included a close up picture of the trigger. One picture shows you the trigger. The other picture shows you the trigger with a black thing on it. The black thing is factory installed to protect the trigger during shipping handling, you don't need to keep it. It prevents the trigger from movement. I keep it on the trigger when I'm not using the torch. First, my husband has alzheimer, and it is unlikely, but he might decide to mess with the torch. The black thing will prevent him from lighting the torch, the same might apply to children or seniors in the home. I haven't found a storage home for the torch yet, but if it lands in a drawer, the black thing can prevent accidental pressure on the trigger, thus releasing/empting the butane. For what it's worth, that's my safety advice. I included a picture of the butane level window. Most torches don't have an indicator that shows how much butane is left. I think you need to know that. Nothing is more frustrating than finding out that the touch is empty just when you need it and should have ordered more butane. A brief word about the butane. I included a picture of the Lotus butane because I didn't know what I know now about butane. I'm not going into it here, but this is by far the best butane to use in your torch. My genius daughter spent 30 minutes telling me why Lotus rather than any other brand. I trust my know-it- all researcher. You will need to buy butane when you buy the torch, same with most other torches. The price range on torches is wide, spending more is silly and spending less will likely not have the helpful features. This torch has a stay-on button so you don't have to hold the trigger during use. It also has flame control, always start on the lowest setting, then decide how much flame you want. It's cute, it's small, and it's a safe tool. It is not a toy for children, and it shouldn't be left where children can get it! I highly recommend this torch. I like it and it has all the easy, helpful features that a torch should have.

This Torch is awesome. It has a controllable flame, lightweight, easy to use and very high quality. It is a nice compact size making it easy to hold in your hand. It is refillable. Would recommend it for anyone to use around the barbecue.

This is a great little torch. I use it for melting gold after processing e waste. Works great. The only down fall is filling it with butane. It's very difficult. Even with the filling adapters provided. The flame strength is controlled by the user. It's very nice. The locking mechanism is amazing!

Works well as intended! Great adjustable flame for brûléeing

I strongly advise against buying this TBTEEK torch. Right out of the box, after a standard butane fill, I immediately noticed a hissing and bubbling sound coming from inside the handle. Upon disassembling the plastic housing to inspect the valves, I found a critical and highly dangerous manufacturing defect: the main transparent pressurized tank has a faulty factory seal. The top cap is joined to the main cylinder with an adhesive or weld that is incomplete, creating a direct, unsealed channel where pressurized gas constantly escapes. Because butane is heavier than air, this constant leak does not safely dissipate upwards. Instead, it pools silently on your workbench or inside your tool drawer while the torch is simply resting, creating a massive deflagration hazard if any stray spark or static occurs nearby. Do not attempt to fix this yourself if you get a defective unit. Patching the gap from the outside with cyanoacrylate (superglue), epoxies, or UV resins fails immediately. The severe thermal shock (freezing temperatures) from the expanding escaping gas instantly micro-fractures rigid adhesives, and they cannot hold back constant pneumatic pressure from the outside. The fact that a pressurized gas vessel passed quality control with a compromised main structural seal is unacceptable. This is not just a cheap, defective tool; it is a severe fire hazard waiting to happen. Avoid at all costs.

Arrived late, that was anticipated, but expected. The Torch itself is great! I love that You can lock it with the flame on, leaving your hands free. If you need to hold it, it's very lightweight. And with My Paracord Hobby, the metal construction is a big plus when Fusing. It's a bit tall, however, that combined with the Yellow and Black design makes it easy to find. i

I love the whole black and yellow theme, it's a gem and if you treat it with respect, it will last a long while. It's a mini bumblebee torch Lol
