Samsung Universal IR Remote, Smart TV Remote Control, All-in-One Samsung Remote, User-Friendly Design, Batteries Included, Black, (VG-TM1240AN/ZA, 2024)

When the original remote for my Samsung TV started failing after almost 8 years of use, I started searching for a replacement. I've found that Universal Remotes seldom work as well as the original and don't support all the functions. Not so with this Samsung remote. Apparently, Samsung has used the same IR signals for each TV function since 2012 and ALL functions are supported. This Universal Remote has many more buttons than the original remote (one of those minimalist designs with a circular wheel to navigate all the menus) making it much easier to change channels and access many of the functions. There was no need to program the remote; just put in the batteries and point it at my Samsung TV and it works!

Works perfectly. I was worried since our original remote is the tiny one, but this works great on the TV we got in 2023.

Works perfectly right out of the box no pairing or set up nothing to do just insert batteries. it doesn't have the netflix hulu or prime video buttons like our original one . I compared the remote serial numbers they are the same. The back battery cover doesn't have the samsung logo . The actual color of remote when you look at it side by side is a "lighter shade of black". We have cats and it seems to get more cat hair stuck on to it easily ( not the remotes fault just saying) .If this is a "knock off" its A DAMN GOOD ONE .Our old remote "source button" was not working. Your old remote if still functional in some ways will still work also even though you're using this one ,now we have 2 remotes for our tv. I don't know about durability have dropped it once or twice already and it still works I only had them about 2 weeks, for the price for me its awesome 👏 Why did you pick this product vs others?: price and look original Value for money: much cheaper than buying "original"

Worked with my Samsung TV with absolutely no setup at all, just point and click. Only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is it doesn't have the streaming service buttons like another one I have.

All buttons work well, no issues.

Great addition to current tv. Much easier to use for streaming and has numbers for antenna use.

Works well. Have been using it for several months now with no issues with my Samsung TV.

I bought this remote specifically because it has a SLEEP button on the remote. Unfortunately, it does work on my TV, even though the remote works with my TV and is listed in the supported TVs. If it were more than $7, I would return it, but not worth the hassle.
