Titanic
Extremely difficult to build. The bow and port ends of the ship will not stay together. You can snap them in place and they pop back off almost immediately. I love the way the ship turned out but keeping both ends together can drive you crazy. I’m gluing my bow and port. Would’ve given 5 stars but not with the blocks popping out on the port and bow.

I am a huge fan of building brick sets and have assembled hundreds of name-brand brick sets over the years. I have always avoided off-brand brick sets since the quality was always lacking and the designs were never that impressive. I saw this Titanic brick building set and was very impressed with the design, so I decided to give it a try. I am very glad that I did. The Titanic building set arrived very nicely packaged in a giftable box. There are 2401 pieces packaged into small numbered bags that make it easier to assemble. There are 2 assembly manual books included since there are so many steps. The assembly manuals are very well done and have very clear step-by-step instructions with a lot of pictures. The manuals clearly show you which bags are needed for each step which really helps. The pieces for this building set are very well made and hold together nicely. The colors of the pieces are bright and vibrant and comparable to name-brand sets. Assembly is at a medium to hard level. I would recommend this to anyone 12 and up. For younger kids it would be fun to do with a parent or older sibling or friend. This Titanic model is very unique since you put together a model that can be split apart revealing the inside of the ship. The detail is very good both inside and outside of the ship. There are 2 mini-figures included. The completed model is very nice to display and is a huge 30.31 inches in length. This brick building set is a fraction of the cost of a similar name-brand set. I am very impressed with the quality of this set and I do recommend it to anyone who enjoys putting together brick building sets.

Just built it and was honestly surprised by how good it is. I usually go for name-brand sets, but this one looked detailed and the price was way more reasonable. The instructions are clear, and the 2401 pieces come in numbered bags, which helps a lot. The model looks great once finished and even has a split-open design to show the inside, plus two minifigures. It’s about 30 inches long, so it makes a solid display piece. The bricks are good quality, bright, and fit well—except for the bow and port sections, which kept popping off. I ended up gluing those parts, which fixed the problem. If you like brick sets and the Titanic, this is a fun and challenging project that’s worth trying, especially if the official version is out of budget.

In 2021Lego came out with an absolutely incredible model of RMS Titanic. It was over 9000 pieces and looked incredible, with all sorts of details both inside and out. It also costs about $850 Cdn (if you buy straight from Lego) and is almost 1.5 meters long. Far too large and expensive for most of us. This Sluban version is 1/4 the pieces and price, and half the size. And the interior is a playset for the included minifigs instead of an accurate model of the ship. Much more child friendly in my opinion. So if you ever wanted to build the Titanic, but thought that the Lego version was just too far out of reach, consider this instead. It's still not cheap, but it's at least reasonable.

The package arrived in a beautifully presented box. This Titanic building set is a gift for my nephew, who has a passion for building. It promises to provide him with hours of enjoyable fun, and I will provide an update once he completes constructing the Titanic ship.

Wonderful set for the price! Super fun build, fits well for being non-brand, definitely a good deal if you have something that loves the Titanic!
