If you are a fan of the show Parks and Recreation, you might enjoy this book. Jim O'Heir tells us his journey as an actor and of course, as a part of the family this ensemble was and still is, in a way. Though these are his experiences and not a full behind-the-scenes book on the show, it contains many insights from some members of the cast and the creators, and overall, I've found it heart-warming and honest. I believe it makes for a good, nostalgic read.

It’s like popping in your favorite mixtape from ’95 and vibing with Leslie Knope’s boundless energy and Ron Swanson’s epic mustache wisdom. This book captures the heart of Parks and Rec—all the quirky humor, tight-knit crew feels, and waffles (duh)—without being some cheesy cash-grab. It’s got that slacker soul we love, mixed with just enough sincerity to make you wanna call your best buds and hit up a diner. No corporate BS, just pure Pawnee love. Totally rad, would read again while blasting Smashing Pumpkins.
