DJI Mic Mini Mobile Phone Adapter (Lightning)

I’m so glad I found this DJI Mic Mini Lightning adapter. My iPhone 13 Pro Max has a Lightning port, while the DJI Mic Mini setup I had used a USB-C connection, and trying to make it work with other adapters was frustrating. I tried using different USB-C to Lightning adapters, but they either didn’t recognize the microphone or simply wouldn’t work properly with my iPhone. I thought a regular adapter would solve the problem, but apparently not every adapter supports the audio connection correctly. This DJI Lightning adapter solved the problem immediately. I connected it to my DJI Mic Mini receiver, plugged it into my iPhone 13 Pro Max, and it worked perfectly. No complicated setup and no messing around with multiple adapters. If you have an iPhone with a Lightning port and are struggling to connect your DJI Mic Mini through USB-C adapters, I definitely recommend getting this one. It saved me a lot of frustration and works exactly the way I needed it to!

Works as expected and as advertised. Bought it for my iPhone 14 Pro so it definitely is compatible with all lightning devices and the DJI receiver. Nice and small. Comes in original DJI packaging. Records great audio (crisp).

It kind of stinks you have to buy this separately but it isn’t outrageously expensive at least. I like a lot how the charge case has a little slot for it so you don’t have to put it somewhere you’ll lose it. It slots right in. The connection is strong. It worked perfectly on an iPhone 14. I like how securely it connects to the receiver and slides off without effort while staying secure. It’s not wobbly or anything. Sound quality feels equal to the USB C counterpart. It’s smartly designed and compatible with my iPhones I’ve tested it with.

This is really convenient for me to actually use with my IPhone lighting port and is super easy to change over to a USBC port for my friends phone but there is no reason it should be $20. Works perfectly just too pricey

I use an older iPhone 12 for some of my video work alongside a newer Android phone, so the standard USB C bits that came with the DJI Mic Mini left me in a bit of a muddle. Buying this separate Lightning adapter was the only real way to get the microphone receiver working with my older Apple gear, and it does exactly what I needed it to do. The best thing about it is how easy it makes swapping between two completely different phone systems mid shoot. You just slide the connector onto the receiver base and it clicks into place. My iPhone picks up the audio signal instantly with no crackling or fussing about. The sound stays perfectly clear, so you do not lose any quality by running it through an extra adapter. The main annoyance is that the physical fit feels a bit loose once it is plugged into the phone port. The receiver sticks out a fair bit and wobbles slightly if you move around too fast while filming handheld. You also have to watch out when putting it away, as it is a microscopic piece of plastic that is very easy to lose in a kit bag, and DJI charge a premium for replacements. If you are a content creator who juggles an Android device and an iPhone 14 or older, this saves you from having to purchase a completely separate wireless microphone setup. It handles the cross-platform stuff beautifully and lets you keep using your older gear without any drama.
