One of the better toothpastes I've used. Taste isn't overpowering, the toothpaste breaks down nicely so you don't get that initial gob that refuses to brush like some gel toothpastes, and the sensitivity additives really do work like a charm. Not the best foamer, but it's sulfate free and more than good enough. As far as toothpastes go, I think it's just a fantastic product at a decent price with the bonus of being one of the few out there with the added benefits of hydroxyapatites on top of a traditional fluoride formula. Teeth just feel better and my mouth feels cleaner. The packaging is the only issue. It really comes across as a repurposed lotion container. The lid design just isn't good for dispensing a toothpaste and is the only knock I have against the product. It needs a tiny spout shape or nozzle so it's easier to apply to your brush and you don't end up getting crusty toothpaste around the minuscule lip on the current lid. Fix the lid and you have a perfect tube of toothpaste. It's why it feels like a lotion applicator or mass produced beauty product package than a toothpaste tube and nozzle. Don't feel it warrants knocking a star off as it's such a nice formula, but why no nozzle? It's such a strange choice.

This is our favorite Toothpaste. It works great. It tastes fine. It doesn’t leave any residue in my mouth. The texture is easy to tolerate and it’s gentle on my teeth. I would recommend this and has a tolerable scent.

FINALLY, a toothpaste that ACTUALLY helps my sensitivity. I have exposed roots due to years of orthodontic work. Regular "sensitive" toothpastes weren't doing anything, or making the problem worse! Even prescription paste wasn't helping. When I tried this, it was a night and day difference. I can eat cookies, cheesecake, ice cream again! Even my cold sensitivity is better. It's not going to be a miracle cure in my case (root canal was recommended by my dentist), but until I can afford that, this has been my saving grace. It gives a nice, smooth, clean feeling and the mint is great without being too weak or too overpowering. It doesn't irritate/break out my skin like pastes with sls. They truly found the happy medium of flavor and the holy grail of toothpaste! The icing on the cake is that they have superior customer service within their company. My only complaint is that Target stopped carrying this version, so now I have to order online. Bring this back to brick and mortar stores!!!

Pretty good toothpaste. Does the job. I wish there were a little less air in that tube. Hard to squeeze out.

This review is in response to my second order of this toothpaste. Initially I tried this toothpaste by chance when I was searching for a toothpaste with a good amount of fluoride. The price seemed reasonable, the fluoride level seemed high enough based on reading the label, so I gave it a shot. The two-pack arrive very quickly, and when I used it I discovered that my teeth actually felt CLEAN. That is to say, I actually felt a difference in the way my mouth felt when I moved my tongue around my mouth after brushing. I had never felt that sensation before with any other toothpaste. The taste was great too. I gave the other tube to my girlfriend to try and she had the same experience. As soon as I got about halfway through the tube I reordered. Definitely the nicest toothpaste I have tried.

If "Made by Dentists" is listening ... my dentist gave me a sample-sized tube of this toothpaste. I really liked it, so I bought normal-sized tubes. The sample-sized tube had a small dispensing hole, allowing me to cleanly apply the toothpaste to my brush. The normal-sized tubes have much larger dispensing holes that do not cleanly dispense the toothpaste, leaving a mess of dried and gummy toothpaste on the top of the tube. A small dispensing hole on the larger tube would be ideal. Update: after using the full container, I've downgraded from 5-stars to 3-stars. The toothpaste is great, but the dispenser is that bad.

I highly recommend this toothpaste if you have sensitive teeth, especially before going to the dentist. After using it regularly, my teeth felt stronger and much less sensitive to cold and dental cleanings. It has a pleasant taste and leaves my mouth feeling very clean. Definitely a great product to add to your daily routine if you struggle with tooth sensitivity.
