Bought for a specific shoot but so impressed that I will now be using it frequently.

The NEEWER 11.6”/29.5cm Deep Focus Reflector definitely delivers on what it’s made for — strong, controlled, focused lighting. While I don’t use it all the time, it comes in handy when a project calls for more directional light or contrast-heavy shots. The build quality is great, and the included honeycomb grids and diffusion cloth give you options depending on how much control or softness you want. It’s compatible with my Bowens-mount lights and fits easily into my workflow when needed. One thing to note: it’s a bit bigger than I expected when ordering, so just make sure you have the space or setup for it. But if you’re looking for a focused lighting modifier that adds punch and shape to your light, this does the job well.

Arrived in perfect condition, securely and safely packaged. A perfect addition to my location kit, ideal for environmental sunset portraits at the beach, action sports, or anything where your light needs to be at a distance from your subject.

Love this reflector, it creates a really nice clean circle of light almost like a spot light and really adds to the throw of the light. I pair mine with the Nanlite FC 500 Bi and it's amazing. If you need a light to shine a beam through a window or for a bit of extra reach. This will do the job. Great value for money and good build quality on the reflector.

Great deep reflector for the money. I love that it comes with the two grids and a little diffuser. The product photos don’t really show how the texture and specular the interior surface is. I wish vendors would provide real product photos and not CADs…and detail shots to show these features. But I’d say it’s a nice specular silver, but not quite as heavily textured nor quite as shiny as my Broncolor P70’s. The clips on the grids also seem like they might fail over time? But time will tell…so far so good!

I have purchased three of these reflectors and have used them many times during outdoor photo shoots. They are great quality and a fraction of the price of some of the other brands. They do what you need them to and hold up through travel from location to the next.
