RockDove Women's Two-Tone Hoodback Slipper with Removable Insole

For the past few years I had been buying a well-known brand of cosy microfibre clog-style slippers with rubber soles, and have been happy with their style and comfor; I have one foot bigger than the other and the shallow backs allow for this discrepency in size. However, I have had to buy a new pair each winter as the backs, especially on the larger foot, tend to collapse after several months of wear. So, after a lot of research, I decided to give these RockDover slipppers a go. I liked the story of the brand, the design of the slippers and the materials from which they are made. Most of all, I loved the fact that the insoles are removeable, which is a great way to accommodate my larger foot. When I first tried them on, the 'big' foot slipper felt a bit tight, even with the insole removed, so I stuffed the paper that was in each slippers' toes into that one slipper to expand it, and set if underneath a radiator for two days. It seemed to do the trick and now both slippers are equally comfortable :) The 'hoodback' feature is great for easing the slippers on and the thick, non-slip soles are fab for on cold floors and for popping outside. Apart from comfort as previously explained, theyse slippers look good too. I chose the Eggplant colourway, they have mauve linings and the soles are the same aubergine colour as the uppers! Plus the actual style, a kind of modified moccasin, do not look old-fashioned. In short, these slippers have solved my odd-feet problem and given me a cosy, warm and safe slipper for the winter season. I love them!

I suffer with Peripheral Neuropathy a result of cancer treatment. My feet feel like they are getting electric shocks all over some times during the day and night. I have tried loads of different types and makes of slippers to help combat this condition and at long last I have found the best slippers ever the amazing support they give is really helping treat my problem the back and around the ankle is so good, I use a shoe horn to help keep the back tongue up in place. Not only are they smart and trendy on (not like granny ones) and I am really old they are SO Comfortable worth every penny and I am taking delivery of another pair today so I can wash these ones. Please persevere if they feel tight they give within a couple of days. Also they are warm cosy non slip and keep their shape. I'm a size. 6 Well done Rockdove

Very well made slippers and very comfortable, warm and cosy. The removable sole is or perfect, much easier to take out and wash than the whole slipper and if wearing very thick socks taking them out makes slippers fit well. They are a bit on the large size, as other reviewers have mentioned. The one part I do not like, as mentioned in other reviews, is the tongue bit on the back. It's a nuisance, folding over and rubbing the back of the foot and making it more difficult to put the slippers on. I really think the makers should remove it as it serves no purpose and is a downside to an otherwise excellent product.

I bought a navy pair a week ago and they are so comfortable I bought these as well. Good fit too.

I bought a size 7 as a gift. The size came up a little small. I am a size 6 and they fitted me comfortably. They look smart and feel cozy. The inner sole helps to make it feel cozy. I gave 3 stars because of the problem with the size.

I have only just received these slippers and on inspection they appear strong and well made. ( I will update review if anything changes ). I wasn't sure whether to order my normal size (8) ( I always have a problem with the fitting of shoes) - so I checked their size chart before purchasing and measured my foot from toe to heel which suggested I needed a size 9.So I tried on these size 9 slippers and they fit perfectly. So anyone who is not sure of size I would recommend they do what I did and go by the size chart. I am so pleased with these slippers. They are so comfortable, and I would say they must be the best slippers I've had in a long time. I am putting some on my Christmas list so I have a spare.

I'm probably a bit biased, I bought these to replace the most comfortable, long lasting and sadly no longer available slippers I've ever had. When I put them on for the first time yesterday I was very disappointed, they were too tight and the elastic gussets at the top cut into my feet uncomfortably. Today, I'm glad to say, they're much more relaxed and either my feet have got used to the elastic or its somehow softened up. They're still not as comfy as my old pair but they're certainly trying, give them a week or two and I think I shall be very satisfied.

I love RockDove Slippers! I Love their comfort, fit, appearance, construction and durability.I travel a lot and am a minimalist when it comes to luggage. Last year I traveled to Patagonia for 3 weeks of touring on board a small ship and along hiking trails. The only footwear that went with me was my hiking boots and my RockDove slippers. They were like a warm hug for my tired feet at the end of each day. I wore them to dinner every night, either on-board the ship or in the lodge dining rooms. My RockDoves were the envy of all the other travelers in our group for my comfort and their ease of packing.I always buy black as they pair well with jeans or hiking pants when indoors. And the loafer style looks great. My RockDove slippers are also indispensable on board long flights. I slip them on as soon as I board.I'm traveling to Norway soon where I will be a guest in a family home and will also travel to their rustic mountain cabin. Once again, the only footwear that will travel with me will be my hiking boots and my Rock Dove slippers. They will serve ALL my indoor and onboard needs ! I love your product!

Slippers are very well made, have elastic on sides (for decent stretch) which I require due to high arch etc. Very fair priced and warm with removable insert. True to size and because of warmth, no socks are required in cold weather. Great value! Addendum: I change into another slippers every other day to keep them fresh and let them "air out". Nonetheless, these are still washable, (in cold water). Highly recommend.

I really like my slippers. They are very comfortable, easy to put on but they also stay on. I have no idea how long they will last but they do seem to be well made. I only with they had other colors.
