Stuck fuel injectors? You need this.
If you're changing our your fuel injectors then I cannot recommend this highly enough. The video shows the immediate effect. I only recorded this so I could show how they work to someone I was having a conversation with. It took less than ten seconds to completely release the injector. I'd hooked it up, hit record, opened the valve to about 1/8th of it's full open and pop! Injector liberation complete. As you can see from the excellent condition of my engine, it had a "small" leak on injector 2. By small, I mean I spent about 2 hours cleaning carbonized fuel (black death) out of the fuel injector housing before I could even access the bolts and then attach this. I didn't even try anything else to get it out, it was clearly going to be an energetic and fruitless endeavour. When that damage was noticed about a year too late it was clear that I'd have a nightmare of a time with a slide hammer so I didn't even bother, I just bought this. This device just makes it so simple. Hook it up to an air compressor, choose the correctly threaded adapter and screw it on. Opening the flow valve starts the action and moments later you've saved yourself a ton of manual labour and time. It's so satisfying. I also noticed an actually small leak on injector 1 but alas the oil filler was in the way, and it was interfering with the throw of the pneumatic hammer. But happily... you don't NEED to tighten the connector attachments all the way down! I found that with just two full turns on the adapter on to the injector, and two turns of the injector on to the adapter I had enough thread engaged to also pull injector 1 even with the very tight clearance. That's about a quarter of the available threads. I don't recommend this, but since this was my car and it wasn't going to fix itself by not trying, I took the risk and it worked. This is something to take in to consideration if you're looking to buy: a lot of engine housings have frame in the way, or other parts! Often times you'll find yourself working under the wipers, or really close to the lip of the windscreen. This tool might not fit then. Some engines have their airflow hosing / filters right in the way. Some parts you can strip out (like air hoses & filters), other parts like my oil filler are not removable! If space is limited expect to have to get creative but lets face it: if you've got a stuck injector and you want to see it pop out like this... this is really the only type of tool that'll do the job. I'm very happy with the quality of this whole package. The connector hose is very high quality. The valve works. The connectors on the hose are great and you get a little roll of PTFE with it too, which is a nice addition. The adapters come in MANY sizes. I am sure that there are oddball fuel injectors that will not have an adapter that fits, but you can probably work around that by making your own. If this is a tool you're looking at then you're probably at least a decently kitted out amateur and you can always weld one up. Find a bolt or a nut that fits your injector and sacrifice an adapter that you don't need and make your own connector. You could even use a nut off of a fuel line, that'll definitely fit. If it doesn't: there's your problem. As for the tool itself: it's a heavy lump of metal with a connector on the bottom for attaching it to your injector (the connector spins freely) and an air hose connector on the side to attach the air hose provided. It comes with UK and EU air line adapters! I never realized that, but this is useful. You can swap them out on the end of the provided hose with the valve that you can attach to your compressor. I didn't need to buy any adapters, my compressor has a line with a UK female fitting, so the UK make fitting that came with this kit worked perfectly with it, no fuss. It needs a 15mm spanner to connect the hose to the tool. Air compressor not included. I have a TITAN brand one, a cheap one from Screwfix, 24 litre max 8 bar pressure. Given the ten seconds I had to use it my compressor was easily enough for this task. I expect that most amateurs who have one will have one similar, and if you don't have one then I can vouch that this arrangement worked well for me. I'd be surprised if this didn't work with a smaller one too quite frankly, but I can't speak to that. The tool specifies a 5 to 8 bar operational pressure range and I believe it. Comes in a sturdy blow moulded box with clips that can fall off but never do when it's clipped closed. Box has a foam liner insert on top and all of the parts fit in nicely, not much or any rattle at all. I genuinely cannot recommend this tool highly enough. It only does one thing but it does it so well. I've been stuck pulling injectors in the past with a combination of levers, slide hammers, and prayers. Admittedly sometimes it's easy but when it's not, you're literally stuck. This is the unsticker. I mean... just look at the video. It wasn't even operating anywhere near its full power. Outstanding performance.

Its amazing
This product is probably one of the best value tools on the market. The performance is outstanding and it removes seized injector’s effortlessly. I was amazed at the efficiency in which it completed the task at hand, especially given the vehicle had worn injector seals and the worst carbon build up I’ve seen in 30 years of motor vehicle repair. So to be clear….. this tool not only works but completes the task in record time. (Seconds)

Impressed
Mobile mechanic here, had a bmw x5 3.0d for a rocker cover replacement (injectors needed to be removed) injectors number 1 & 6 where very stuck, slide hammer (BIG slide hammer) was useless on number 1 and due to how the engine is situated I couldn’t even get it on number 6. Soon as I realised this I ordered this tool and got it in the evening. So next morning I go back to the job, wacked the compressor on set the tool up on number 1 and honestly didn’t expect much as my big slide hammer had no effect the day before. So anyway, I turn the valve and literally 10 seconds later I had a completely rusted injector bounce out of where it had been for 15 years! I thought ahh I bet that was just luck, so I set up on number 6 (tool just about fit in the tight space, turned the valve and bam straight out just like number one! Genuinely mind blown, the tool has given me a lot more confidence on jobs like this now. If you are reading this I urge you to get one just for peace of mind. Will be interesting if I ever get the chance to test it on the nightmare Vauxhall vivaro/Renault traffic injectors that always require a specialist with a hydraulic puller.

If you ever tried to take out cyl. 6 injector on an E70 BMW and it was impossible, then this tool is a must. The head of the injector broke off using a proper tool, and welding a rod and using a slide hammer and all kinds of different things, and nothing worked. I've seen people do all kinds of crazy stuff building a giant hammer out of wood ETC. it's not needed. I welded on a fine thread bolt on top of the injector, and useD this tool and finally came out. I didn't even have to remove the valve cover. Excellent product very happy with it. CAME OUT IN LIKE 4 SECONDS.

After fighting with cyl 5 and 6 injector on an M57, I came across this puller. Ended up using it on the X5 M57 and later a 3 series N47, and the injectors came out like butter. Wish I found this years ago.
