It is compatible with most Chamberlain openers. Please check if there is a yellow button near the terminal of your garage door opener. If there is a yellow button, it will NOT be compatible.

Q: How to get this to work with Alexa to open and close for you?

You have to go into the Alexa app, go into Devices, find the garage door opener and assign a pin. Whenever you ask Alexa to open garage door she'll ask for the pin.

You can lookup the units that are compatible with these WiFi garage openers or you can do a quick test by shorting the cables going from the wall unit to the garage door, if the door moves they will work

Q: Does it work with 5ghz wifi

You have to purchase the exact model that works with 5 GHz modems. There is a model only for Bluetooth and another for WiFi
