I am working in my amigurumi crocheting skills. I love this yarn. It is super easy to use and if you mess up it’s very easy to undo the yarn and start over. The yarn is durable for beginners. There are so many fun colors to choose from. The size is thicker than traditional yarn but I haven’t had issues with using when following patterns that call for more traditional yarn. The variety was a good deal especially if you are making small items.

I absolutely love this yarn. It’s easy to use for people of all abilities. I use it to crochet and I love how easy it is to spot my stitches. It doesn’t fray or split. Knots are easy to remove. The colors are super fun!

This yarn is great for beginners. I couldn’t get the hang of crocheting until I tried beginner yarn from another brand, and this yarn feels/looks the same. There is a great variety of colors and only a few skeins had pieces knotted together, but two of the skeins had knots every 1-2 feet (and they were my favorite multi colored ones too). This yarn works well for mini projects that call for 2+ colors, but these skeins are smaller than described, and not big enough to complete a mini project using only 1 skein. I recommend using a smaller hook than what comes with it if you’re doing amigurumi (I recommend 3mm, 2.75 if you’re worried about not having enough of the color). I had another skein of the same yarn type (same width,thickness, and type) but another brand, that was 60yrds and made 3 projects with it (all about the same size- 2 were the same pattern with a 3mm hook). Tried making the same mini project (the one I made 2 of with the other yarn), and ran out of yarn about 4/5ths of the way through, using a 3mm hook (which is smaller than the hooks provided). I had to frog the project and redo it with tighter stitches and a 2.75mm hook. So just be aware that you will probably need more than 1 skein for a mini project, and a smaller hook.

So each color is only enough for a small amigurumi, so if thats what you’re looking for it’s perfect! If you’re making one with multiple colors it’s also great for that. The quality is as expected, although I have noticed that the center and colored outer sleeve has a tendency to separate if pulled too tightly. With the 12 pack I made so many amigurumi my kids were extremely happy. It’s very soft and the colors are vibrant and consistent through the whole ball. The balls are perfect size for a small amigurumi. I used the hook it came with for many of the projects I made with this and Imhave zero complaints. I did run out of stuffing even though I still have yarn but I think that’s my fault over theirs. They do send a lot of stuffing. Over all I would recommend this to anyone. It’s priced correctly and you will be happily crocheting for hours.

Great yarn for amigurumi crochet. The weight is comparable to Easy Peasy yarn, so they work well together. They are very small skeins though.

Great craft starter kit, good for small projects, great colors.

So I am barely learning how to crochet. I purchased this kit to start projects. I didn’t know/understand the sizing of the yarn until I got them. They are itty bitty sizes. That was on me because I didn’t know but now I have a bunch of little yarn that I can’t start a project with because I’ll run out of yarn before I can finish it. Wish they were bigger. Otherwise, the yarn is a nice cotton material, easy for beginners

Overall a decent deal, and the quality is good, but the skeins are about 1:2 of what comes in a wooble kit - with ensuring minimal waste 1 color got me through the fox body and 1.5 ears (obviously my animal wasn’t cute due to the lopsided ear, but Was fixable with some improvisation). The tail wasn’t even in the question. Thinking you’d need at least 75g to complete a wooble with minimal errors, 100 g to do so comfortably and have a little left over - one skein Was enough to do the strawberry though, and the yarn itself is comparable. 5 stars if these were just a little more realistic size wise
