I searched high and low for a quality book on the latest Blender versions. One thing I kept noticing was that most books had black and white images... I really prefer color images as color is used in the blender UI in very important ways... such as weight painting, etc... how is this book going to show things like that if it isn't using color?So, I was relieved and excited when I clicked the "read sample" portion of this book and saw the beautiful, high resolution color images in the sample. Finally, I found one! I spent a little extra money and ordered the hard cover version as this looked like a very promising new edition to my collection and I wanted to keep it in good shape.It arrived today... the pictures are not in color, in fact, I'm not as upset about the colorless pictures as I am the print quality of the pictures. They are horrendous. The contrast is so terrible that half of it looks like black ink smudge, the resolution is horrible... the pictures are literally blurry... just take a look at the photos I provided, one is a screenshot of the "sample" they provided, the other is the actual book... Why even put pictures in the book if they are practically just globs of black ink? What a disappointment. I enjoy visual references in my learning, it helps keep me engaged... but this right here... I can't even make out what I'm looking at...
