Lincsplants 10 Bunches of Elodea Densa Oxygenating Pond Plant (Weighted)

Some of the reviews I read was because people were dissappointed when they arrived but I had no worries because the plants arrived in perfect condition. The only tiny thing was I have had to buy some more weights because a few of my plants are floating above subtract. Lovely green colour and nothing looking dead. Very happy with price. I also paid for next day delivery

The plants were actually better than expected with a dense bunch. The base was wrapped in fleece with synthetic weights supplied. Sadly due to a clerical error, only a small part of the order was supplied, but Jan and the sales folk were very helpful both on the phone, and via email. Good value, great service.

Received these plants in a short time and the quality is good. Only problem for me was the poor packaging that was charged at over £4 yet the stamps were for around £1. The envelope was a standard paper 15p envelope with what looked like a sandwich bag inside with the plants in. The packaging was completely ripped open and plants in my letter box. I suggest changing these for something more suitable in future.

Plants arrived end of March, clearly having been somewhere too warm and looking a bit slimy. To be fair I think this was due to the postal delivery service and not the supplier. They did not smell bad so I put them in my pond immediately as instructed and hoped for the best. Routine pond maintenance today and not one has survived. I didn’t want to disturb the pond prior to now as we have many newts breeding in it in the Spring. Water clear, all other plants and wildlife thriving, this is a well established pond. I think when packed the plants were probably in great condition, but the journey and poor postal service must have done more damage than I previously thought. The returns window was April so sadly I have nothing to show for my purchase. Again, I think this is the delivery which was at fault, not Lincolnshire pond plants.

These arrived and when I placed them in the pond loads of the stems came loose from the lead weights and were just floating around my pond. I'm not sure if they were badly put together in the weights or if the stems had all been broken up during transit. Which ever it was, I feel more could have been done to prevent this with better packaging or assembly of product. The ones that remained in the weights do still seen to be alive a few weeks on though, so it wasn't a total waste.

Have bought this before and was quite pleased. However plants this time arrived fairly yellow. They are in the water now and I will wait to see if they pick up, perhaps it’s the time of year
