Increased productivity at your finger tips!
Beautifully crafted, responsive keys, extended layout with numeric keypad makes light work...truly a great product at an incredibly low price. Especially appreciate the "exact match" with the Macbook pro aluminum case...

Works well but looks worn
Nice keyboard. Feels like an original MacBook keyboard. I wish the keycaps light was closer to the key itself. And after a little more than six months, the lettering on frequently used keys is wearing off. (see photo.) They lose a star for that.

Works great for both laptops and desktops!
I got this keyboard the other day so that I could use it with my laptop (macOS) and my desktop (Windows) and it seems to work flawlessly on both. There are a few accommodations I need to make when using on my Windows machine but just use the keys that are in the correct position no matter what they say on them and you’d never know they were different. Just make certain to use the fn-lock feature when on a pc if you ever use function keys. I like the feel of the keys while typing and it’s much more comfortable than other keyboards I’ve used. It’s very quiet while typing and the only key that remotely makes noise is the space bar. I got it for my laptop mainly because I work a lot with numbers and I really like having the number pad. Which leads me to my only complaint, I wish it didn’t have a “power” button on it or that it was in a different spot. It is right next to the minus button and if I bump it then it immediately shuts my computer down or puts it in sleep mode. I don’t see any way to disable this function and my tower is underneath my desk in a cabinet. It makes it terribly annoying to have to crawl under and turn it back on. It does only send the computer to sleep mode so I don’t lose any work but I haven’t been able to revive the computer without using the power button on the tower. The worst time was when I was adding figures while looking at a printout and just kept going until I heard the monitor beep at the loss of signal. Lol. The reason I still gave it five stars is because it’s not Macally’s fault I hit the wrong key. Considering the price, it’s every bit as good as keyboards costing three times as much.

Amazing Lightweight sturdy quiet keyboard Amazing
I purchased the aluminum silver ultra slim full keyboard with number keys to work with my Microsoft Surface Book 2. I wanted a USB wired keyboard so that I didn't have to deal with bluetooth or wireless issues. The cord is white, sleek and easy to tuck into so you don't see it. Not a fan of the look of wires, but like their reliability. The keyboard synced automatically with my Surface Book and matches the color -- brushed aluminum. It is metal because my Surface Pro has a magnet in the base and the keyboard was attracted to it. Love at first sight. The keys are very responsive, set apart perfectly for fast typing and the sound is pleasing (none). There are no "decals" and the keys are printed into the plastic so I don't anticipate they will rub off any time soon. My old Dell keyboard had the "s" and "l" keys etched in after 5 years of daily typing with fingernails. The keys have a nice matte feel to them. A nice tactile touch. The space bar is easy to access, as well as "delete", "return" and "tab". It is exceptionally smooth and compact without squishing everything in. The number keyboard works, you just need to unlock it -- by hitting "Clear" on the keypad. The function keys work, volume, brightness, eject, copy and cut. It doesn't slip around at all. In fact, I have to pick it up to move it. It is surprisingly solid for being so light. I had been working on my laptop keyboard (which I love the feel) but found that my neck and wrists weren't happy to type every day for hours on a laptop keyboard on a riser. I should have bought this months ago! I was going to expense it for business use, but I'm going to keep it for myself to use on my personal Mac laptop I love it so much!

keeps shocking me, keys not all properly mapped
Overall this keyboard has a good look and feel. The frame is metal so it's sturdy, but with it being metal, there's a glaring issue I'll get to at the end. The keys are crisp and require very little pressure to press - it's not quite like the new macbooks though. It does have some nice option buttons available above the home key and keypad, but unfortunately there was no additional software that shiped with the box, so you cannot, for instance, remap keys for a different function than what it's pre-programmed for. So if I wanted to remap the screenshot button to do something entirely different, it's not possible. (at least not easily, I tried in mac settings but was unsuccessful in doing so). The smaller Delete key that is right next to the "End" key (not the backspace/delete key), doesn't work in all applications for some reason. Some programs, like Microsoft Office, just don't accept that button properly. Also office applications like OneNote don't like the "home" or "end" keys in that section of the keyboard. Instead of moving the mouse to the beginning of the line or end of the line/sentence, it moves the entire document to the beginning or end. (That's really more for page up/down, not home/end) Unfortunately this button breaks some other applications entirely as well. The biggest issue I have with the keyboard is that there's a grounding issue with the electronics. Every once in a while I'll move my feet and then when I slightly touch the frame of the keyboard (as I type) I get a static shock on my finger. As soon as it shocks me, the keyboard stops working. I have to move or click my mouse and then I can start typing again. I've not tried grounding it myself with a wire and may do so to see if that helps, but it doesn't look very attractive to have a separate ground wire soldered to the back of the keyboard.

I bought this keyboard because I liked the layout/tactile feel of the Apple keyboard but I needed it to work for Windows (which this keyboard does). It worked as soon as I plugged it in (didn't have to install or download anything). I am using it on a Windows 10 desktop PC and it works pretty much flawlessly as far as I can tell. The "Windows" key is the "cmd" key, in case you were wondering, and the "Alt" key is the "option" key. The feel of the keys themselves is very nice to type with, with a very satisfying clicky feel that is very similar to the Apple keyboard. I bought this specifically for gaming (weird, but it's the style of keyboard I like for gaming). You can switch the F1-F12 etc keys to be able to be activated by the Function key, or not, depending on how you like it, simply by pressing Esc+Fn. I prefer the F1-F12 keys to be usable for gaming hot keys, so I was able to configure those keys the way I liked for gaming without the additional functions getting in the way. The build quality is pretty good, although maybe note QUITE as good as the Apple, but generally feels about the same. I give the product a 5/5 score. Perfect for what I needed, which is an Apple-style keyboard that works on Windows PC's, plug-and-play, with nice build quality, and good layout. Love it.

Pleasant quality product. After using original Mac keyboard it takes time to get used to "Fn" buttons on the main keyboard bottom corners. When you want press "option", you press "control", because there is one more button fitted in the "control"-"option"-"command" space. When I get used to this layout, I will add the fifth star. :)
