Dash Rapid Egg Cooker, 7 Eggs, Hard Boiled, Poached & Omelettes, Aqua

This egg cooker is a total game changer! It makes up to 7 perfectly cooked hard-boiled eggs in just 15 minutes, making my mornings so much easier. The eggs come out perfect every time. It’s compact enough to store easily in a cupboard without taking up much space, and I love the color. This appliance does get very hot during use, so be sure to use oven mitts or heat-resistant gloves when handling it. It’s very stable and feels well-made, giving me confidence while using it. It’s exactly as described, works great, and is very reasonably priced. If you eat hard-boiled eggs regularly, this is definitely worth buying!

This has changed my life. I am in recovery from brain surgery. Doing fine, but not supposed to cook a lot. However, you load this up with some eggs you can cook as many as seven or as little as two. Add the appropriate amount of water and pierce the eggs and you have perfectly cooked hard-boiled eggs. I also made two soft, boiled eggs, what I learned was undercooked them a little because when you do the water, the what they say, and then you wait for your second one to be eaten. It’s kind of overcooked a little. Because of Carrie overheat. Few things to note, it gets a little hot. But given that you are steaming eggs, that makes a lot of sense. I think if you clean it and wipe it down. It seems durable to me. I have had no issues with leakage or burning eggs. I like it so much that I feel that everyone should have one in their home. It is more energy efficient than boiling water. I got it on sale through Amazon, so for me, the value was great. But even so I’ve already gotten value from it. It will poach eggs and you can make an omelette and when I also made was a steamed fried egg in other words, I put the butter in. I put the egg in and it steamed it as a flat thing for an egg sandwich. Which is also like the poaching feature. I love it. I love that. I press the button and in 7 to 13 minutes I have hard-boiled or any style egg I want and it sings out I’m done. Buy one.

I've been using the **Dash Rapid Egg Cooker** for a while now, and it has become one of my favorite small kitchen appliances. I purchased this one after remodeling my kitchen and gifted my first one to my granddaughter who also loves it. I enjoy eggs for breakfast but don't always have time to watch a pot on the stove, this cooker has made mornings much easier. The biggest advantage is how simple it is to use, just add the recommended amount of water, place the eggs in the tray, and press the start button. Whether I want soft-, medium-, or hard-boiled eggs, the results are consistently reliable. The included measuring cup makes the process nearly foolproof, so little effort is required and eggs come out tender and evenly cooked. Another thing I appreciate is the speed. It cooks eggs faster than traditional boiling methods and automatically shuts off when finished, so I don't have to keep checking on them. Cleanup is also quick since the removable trays are easy to wash. I use a "magic eraser" to clean the mineral deposits left on the heating surface from our hard water. Overall, I give the **Dash Rapid Egg Cooker 4.8 out of 5 stars**. It's affordable, convenient, easy to clean, and consistently delivers great boiled and poached eggs. I highly recommend it!

This Dash egg cooker is so easy to use and makes perfect eggs every time! It’s quick, convenient, and a great addition to my kitchen. I especially love the little chime it makes when the eggs are done instead of an annoying beeping sound. The aqua color is adorable too. Highly recommend for anyone who loves easy, perfectly cooked eggs.

This works so great! Super easy to use and fast. The eggs come out perfect and the shells slide off every single time. My only concern is how the stainless skillet part will hold up. It doesn’t come clean, I scrub and scrub and it I can’t get one section. But otherwise I love it

If you read (and follow) the instructions you'll have the best experience with the Dash Rapid Egg Cooker. I received it, read the instruction booklet, unpacked it, washed the washable parts, watched Dash's little "how to" videos and quickly made 2 poached eggs. They were perfect! Not too runny, not at all hard and moist & delicious as well. I quickly prepared 7 eggs for hard cooking by poking the wide end of the egg with the provided tool, adding the correct amount of water and putting the cover on the cooker. I got 7 perfectly cooked hard boiled eggs. While I was learning how to use the tool to poke holes in the eggs I was being overly cautious and managed to break 2 eggs by squeezing too hard and breaking the shell of one -- in multiple places -- with my fingers. I broke a 2nd one by pushing the tool almost sideways making a bigger hole with a small crack in it. I chalked those 2 up to experience and set them aside. I then cooked 7 intact eggs in the cooker. They came out perfect and unexpectedly easy to peel. I've never been able to boil any number of eggs without a few cracking badly so losing 2 to the learning experience still left me ahead in the hard cooking eggs game. After making the first 7 eggs, I decided to "see what would happen" if I cooked the 2 broken eggs in the egg cooker even though they were badly broken. Please note that the first egg was essentially crushed with a little bit of egg white oozing out between the broken pieces of egg shell. The other egg was slightly cracked with a larger than necessary square hole in it. I assumed that both wood ooze out quite a bit of egg into the cooker. I added the appropriate amount of water, crossed my fingers and turned it on. The egg timer went off and I opened the cooker. Both eggs appeared to be intact with no leakage whatsoever. A big surprise. I cooled and peeled both eggs and they were absolutely intact and tasted great. The broken one was misshapen looking in the shell but once the shell was (easily) removed it looked fine, only slightly lumpy at the top of the egg - the part that is usually flat in hard boiled eggs. Even though some of the egg white had oozed out of the cracks in the shell, the egg itself, the egg looked fine. It would have been fine for most uses unless you were looking for a perfect shape for deviled eggs for example. Boiling an egg generally leaves a flat spot on the broad end of the egg, so normally that perfect shape just doesn't happen. So, my first 3 attempts using this egg cooker far exceeded my expectations and the Dash Rapid Egg Cooker is definitely a keeper for me. BTW: Reading and following the instructions is, in my opinion, essential to successfully using this cooker. Viewing the video that is included in the product listing is also very helpful: it gives a good idea of what to expect and you can observe what it looks like to use the cooker successfully. I learned from watching the video that using the needle provided to poke a hole in the larger end of the egg helps to prevent the eggs from cracking, makes the shells much easier to peel and allows the wider end of the egg to expand to fill the rounded shape of the shell giving a perfect egg shape on both ends for much better looking eggs for any dish where the shape of the whole egg is visible such as for deviled eggs. The video also explains why the provided measuring cup indicates that LESS water is used for MORE eggs being cooked which is counterintuitive. A number of reviewers have commented on this seeming mis-measurement; assuming the cup was incorrectly marked I can't recall ever being this pleased with an online purchase and I will be using Dash's Rapid Egg Cooker regularly.

I love this little hard boiled egg maker. My sister bought one first and after seeing it I went home and got my own. So glad I did! This little rapid egg cooker makes 7 hard-boiled eggs very quickly and they are perfectly cooked every time. It shuts itself off when it's done and informs you that is is finished with a lovely little tune that's unmistakenable from any other appliance so you know when you hear it that your eggs are ready. Just drop them in cold water for a few minutes and they peel beautifully! This little appliance is made of a durable plastic with a metal base and is of a good quality. It's easy to clean. I know it also makes poached eggs and omelettes--though I haven't tried these features yet. I'm sure they work very well too.

Actually works GREAT!!!!! I have been using it for several weeks now and the eggs come out perfect every time. The process is super simple and the cooker is easy to use. The eggs are perfectly done and they peel super easily !!!

It works but the boiling times are all wrong

Unfortunately, this product was a huge disappointment. The taste was burnt and undercooked, and I tried it multiple times with the same bad result. It’s nothing like the description. Very poor quality. I definitely do not recommend it.

Does not have "Auto Shutoff" feature. Just beeps like the rest of them. I was hoping it would turn itself off once eggs were cooked. NOPE just beeps and keeps cooking.

Came with a US plug, so was unable to be used. I had sent as a gift…how embarrassing! Now we have to go thru whole rigamaroll to figure out that one!
