Crystal Armor Fusso Cell Phone Fingerprint Oleophobic Coating Kit 3ml from Japan

My phone is over three years old, and a patch of the oleophobic coating had worn away where the screen gets the most finger contact. This stuff has returned the screen to its original smooth feel, and the fingerprints now wipe off easily. It's been a couple of weeks, and there's no obvious degradation. The product is a bit expensive, but part of that will be the cost of shipment from Japan. It did turn up very quickly, though. It's a small bottle, but three coatings have used hardly any. This really works, doesn't stop finger prints but stops the rainbow smuge effect. I had a scratch on my phone and used glass polish to remove it, that also removed the oleophobic coating, it was a smudgy mess after. I put multiple layers of this on and now my phone is completely smudge fee! I've ordered more!

Terrible product. Bad purchase. Lasted around 3 days and even then wasn't much effective (Allowed fingerprints, smudges and water). High price for a tiny few millilitres, that did not work. I would recommend to avoid.

This product definitely works. Followed the instructions and screen had original 'feel' to it. However, I did notice that the oleophobic effect of the coating deteriorated after a couple of days of moderate use. It was definitely a lot faster than the coating that was originally on the phone when new. That being said, the screen still is much easier to clean than before and if used sparingly, you can get a quite a bit usage from the 3ml bottle. The best thing to do would be to put a screen protector on it with an oleophobic layer and preserve the layer on the screen. But if you don't like bubbles that can sometimes appear on screen protectors, this will be a good alternative (if a little time consuming).
