Matte Pomade – High Hold, No Shine Styling Wax, 3.4 oz

Great matte clay. Has a solid but not sticky hold. Finishes super dry with pretty much no shine at all. Not super heavy either and has a great scent. I’ve noticed for longer hair, it works best to apply while hair is damp/wet to get even coverage and then blow dry for a good matte finish. Works every time

I been using this product from Last three years, I use daily & never had issue with my hair. Easy to use & apply, it disappear quick in hair without living any. Not sticky as other product, keeps your hair separate & still give hairstyle you want.

Love this product. Been following Anthony the Barber on Insta for years. Happy to see his product on Amazon. Creamy clay texture with a slight fragrance. Goes on smooth and doesn’t gum up your hair. I like to put a finishing application to keep my hair in place. Would definitely buy again...and will try the other formulas too.

This is the stuff my hairstylist always recommends for me, and while it is the best matte pomade I've tried that isn't wildly expensive, it doesn't hold THAT well. If I bend over too much, or it's windy out, or anything else happens to disrupt my pompadour, my hair's gonna start parting and falling down on the sides, even with a ton of pomade and hair spray. But my pompadour is higher/longer than the way most men cut their hair, so if you're a man this stuff will probably work for you! If you're a queer woman with a gay haircut and a limited budget, you should probably bring a comb with you to fix it up during the day (I carry around a switchblade comb myself, and my friend told me it would impress girls, but so far I think it's actively repelled women and men alike, so maybe just a normal comb??). Sorry for the weird pictures. The Instagram filtered one is what my hair looks like fresh from the stylist, and the cosplay WIP one is about the best I can get my hair to look with this pomade, before it starts to part halfway through the day.

Full disclosure, the owner of this company has been my barber for more years than I can count, and probably since the inception of Victory Crown. While he is a terrific barber with a depth of skill and knowledge, I would not use his product if it sucked. This product (and all of his others I have tried) does not and the reason why is his knowledge and commitment to product formulation and how they work. For me, I am a pretty uncomplicated fella who goes to the barber twice a week and maintains a pretty stright forward, clean cut 'doo on my noggin. I want a product that is stupid easy and no muss, no fuss, and doesn;t look like I have anything in my hair, just good look. This fits the bill and while this is the first one I have purchased via Amazon (for the ease), it is probably my 10th one I have used. If you can't tell, I am a fan of the products, the founder, and the company.

This is the only matte, clay product I use these days. I've tried so many brands, but Victory Crown by far has had the best hold and finish that lasts all day. It also washes out super easy, which is a godsend. Look no further.

Quality is way down. I’ve used this for years, since the jars were larger and made of metal. I need to use way more of the product than I used to in order to achieve the same hold. Still works but value is much poorer.
