Signature My Scene Doll & Accessories, in Y2K-Inspired Outfit with Pleather Jacket, Flare Pants, Saddle Bag & Display Stand

I have the original dolls and this was a nice reproduction. Very close to the original. If you missed out on the original My Scene dolls, this is a great way to get your own. The facial screening on these dolls is very nice. These were in response t the bratz dolls, but cuter. I always thought these were pretty dolls and then Mattel changed the faces and the quality started going down, which caused the series demise. The repros are a bit more than the original dolls, but still a good purchase since the quality is good.

So much more beautiful than expected! The pants have almost like a shimmer to them. A lot of love and detail went into this collection and I hope there are more to come!

So I have all the girls and I even included an original Hollywood Nolee since she is missing from the My Scene re-release. Nolee is my favorite character so I am biased with her plus this version of her is my favorite with the eyelashes and everything. This review is for Barbie. She is the closest as far as appearance wise to the originals. I love her outfit the most because of this, plus she feels more complete in the look and not as cheap. Is she worth $40-45? No. More like 19.99-24.99 because she doesn't come with all the extra outfits and accessories the originals do. So why the price hike? Don't think that is fair to the customers and die hard fans for this price hike with no extra to play with. Hopefully they will release more and add on what we want at a lower price like more clothes, better make up looks and accessories like we were use to. So for the quality control, price and lack of accessories and clothing I had to rate this at 4 stars. Because overall though the dolls are pretty good. Now I love Barbie as a whole. I don't like the pants opening up from the front Bottom on the legs and I personally loved the original way it was done on the sides. But the quality of the pants is nicer. I really do love the hat and jacket and purse which is a nice touch. I would of preferred a real stomach necklace like the original had. But I'm happy they at least gave us a belt. I actually prefer the original style of the pants she had before. My only grip is that my Barbie's krimped hair that I was the most excited about was uneven on the right side and it's so off it looks lopsided so there are some quality control issues with Mattel at times and this is a collectors doll so why did they mess up her hair like this I don't know and I have to put it back so I don't have to look at it since it looks very weird for one side to be longer and krimped and the other side so short. Plus I think they should of had most of her hair Krimped instead of only a few strands which makes her hair look undone. Her make-up is closest to the original where the other two look a bit off that they come off more like a dupe doll. And that's sad because I like their characters more than Barbie actually. I have reviewed the others if you are interested on my likes and dislikes. Overall I love Myscene so I had to get all the original girls, but you need to re-release Nolee in her blue attire as well. Along with Kenzie, Delancey and Jai. I wish they would of re-release these girls exactly as they were like Bratz did. But they didn't and I don't understand that? But Mattel has room to change and update these girls and bring us more and I hope they do because I would be totally interested in getting more of these dolls because they are some of my favorite dolls from Barbie. For the price though Mattel give us more and give us quality with style, patterns and prints with good make-up colors and accessories. We know you can do it!

Gave this doll to my niece as a present. She later told me it was the prettiest doll I'd given her yet. Would recommend.

10/10, these dolls are the best. The My Scene dolls are back! I review all three dolls separately (Chelsea, Barbie and Madison) — this is the review for Barbie. Overall: are they like the original My Scene dolls? Yes. Their faces, body, and hair are the same as the classic My Scene dolls and so is their quality. All My Scene doll have always been collector Barbie quality in my opinion, so I’m glad the quality is great on these as well. The hair has a nice feel, the soft tone makeup is great, and the details on the clothes, shoes and fabric purses is top notch. My Scene Barbie My Scene Barbie comes with: - A faux leather jacket. You can see that it looks so realistic, with pretend zip and buttons. This is one of the best Barbie jackets Mattel has ever made in my opinion. - A cool top, in line with the 2000s. - The best pants Mattel has ever made in my opinion. They’re leather-effect and the color is perfect for these pants. - A belt that is fully adjustable, meaning it can be styled at whatever height you want. - A fabric purse in faux-leather effect. This can be filled up and it closes with a button, just like the collector Barbie purses. This elevates the product. - A red hat. It’s a good size and doesn’t fall off even after the plastic hooks are removed. - My Scene sunglasses. - A cute necklace and earrings - My Scene shoes, which are painted in great detail. It’s not just a block color. - Doll stand (the black Barbie doll stand that clips at the waist) I was particularly impressed with her hair. Under the hat, she has one strand of hair that's pulled back in a cute way. I like that these dolls have the original My Scene bodies, with the slightly bendy click knee (not jointed). For anyone who is unfamiliar with them, these are the classic 2000s Barbie bodies, so they have regular Barbie feet under the big My Scene shoes (meaning there are Barbie shoes out there that will fit if you prefer Barbie shoes to My Scene shoes) and the clothes are just like Barbie clothes. It would be great to see many more of them, also Nolee and Delancey, and the My Scene pets and fashion packs because the overall quality is impressive. Mattel, please bring back more!
