Was honestly a bit disappointed with this speaker. The sound was “ok” but not as rich as the little speaker I bought from Anker for about £30. The outdoor mode oddly made everything sound very tinny. Given to the daughter to use and abuse - I’ll try again with something else.

Unimpressed, definitely not 'Big Bass' in my experience! - very tinny sound, prioritised background sound over talking when trying to watch a film, tried changing the settings to see if that would make a difference and to no avail.

It's basically a wonderboom 2 the only difference is the podcast mode and outdoor mode. It's got the same sound quality and it says it lasts for up to 14 hours mine only lasted 4 hour's total rip off. Way Overpriced just to call it a wonderboom 4 it's definitely not.

Best investment ever. Loud and waterproof

It's easy to pack around and has pretty good sound for such a little guy. Primary uses are music and audiobooks and the sound quality good enough that I'm satisfied. It's not Bose, but it sure ain't bad. I use it in the shop, out by the pool and when I'm gardening. Outdoors the sound travels a bit better if there is a wall or something solid behind the speaker. The loop makes it easy to carry or hang up and the 360⁰ sound means less fussing around with location and direction. Connected to my Android, playing on Spotify, I can crank it all the way up with no distortion or crackling. But, I only did that this one time, so I could note it in the review. It's pretty freaking loud. It's solid with a rubber cap on both the top and bottom. In case of a drop, those could be lifesavers. I've never tossed it in the water, so cannot attest to it's water resistance. It connects quickly and easily to any Bluetooth device and the buttons on top provide easy access to pairing, pause and power. It will power down if left unused for a few minutes to preserve the battery. That's a nice function. I'm not wild about the HUGE volume controls on the front. I think they're ugly and detract greatly from the overall appearance of the speaker. Overall, good value for the money.

Great portable speaker ! So far, it has surpassed all the other ones I've tried. Very good sound with good bass for it's compact size. It's also waterproof and falls proof, and it floats, which is great. It seems very well made and it looks good too! Definitely my favorite speaker, I would recommend and I liked it so much I bought a second one to pair with the first one I bought. You want a solid speaker with great sound, that you can bring anywhere with you, this is it! FYI it's been a year that I bought the first one and I use it regularly (in the shower, the car, doing the dishes...) and it still looks brand new and performs as well as day 1!

L'enceinte est vraiment de bonne qualité, de même que le son. Elle est discrète et ne prend pas beaucoup de place. Le seul bémol serait le son à l'allumage qui ne peut pas se régler, donc le toudoum est vraiment fort. Aussi, il n'y a pas d'indicateur visuel de batterie. Lorsque l'on appuie sur le bouton dédié, l'enceinte nous indique si elle est chargée ou non, mais ne nous dit pas le pourcentage de la batterie. Tout est parfait en dehors de ça, la batterie tient bien !

The Ultimate Ears WONDERBOOM 4 is built like a friendly little bean and sounds like it does CrossFit and drinks black coffee for fun. I turned it on and my house said, “Oh. We’re doing this now.” The bass showed up uninvited and started rearranging the furniture emotionally. The 360-degree sound is real. I walked in a circle around it like an idiot and the music followed me like a curse. I put it in the shower. Loud. I put it by the pool. Louder. I dropped it in the pool. It floated. Still yelling. I walked away from my phone. Then I walked farther. Then I forgot where my phone was. Music never stopped. This speaker is loyal to a fault and clearly doesn’t respect personal space. Battery lasts forever. Pairing takes half a second. Survives water, dust, and my playlist decisions. Five stars. If this thing gets any louder it’s going to start paying rent.
