Marine Vented Outboard Engine Splash Cover, Black or White, 40-600hp

I am very pleased with this cover. It is good quality and fits my Mercury 90 hp outboard very snug. One word of advise, have another person help you fit this cover on your outboard motor. It is a very tight fit and another person will help save you the aggravation of attempting to put this cover on alone.

Looks great, fits great! High quality original factory cover, not aftermarket copy. Vents fit perfect on 150 cowling. It's tight (but you want it to be right?). I started sliding it about half way down the front made sure it was not folding under on any other side, then began shimmying it down a little bit on all sides not getting one side too far ahead of the other until I could get the front under the cowling tab, then pulled the rest down until it fit perfectly in the cowling rubber seam. Hasn't moved at all, doubt it will!

This cover does exactly what it is suppose to and fits like a glove. I was having constant issues with water spots on my cowl, I no longer have to worry about that and it's now protected from the sun as well. The cover itself is pricey, but I would purchase again if I had to. I've had no issues with it coming off during transport, those that have had issues, I'd have to wonder if it was installed correctly to begin with.

It is too small. Vents do not align with those on motor. I gave up trying.

Awesome cover. Very thick material. Only had on a couple days but looks great. Time will tell if it fades or not but will definately protect the engine from sun and rain. I have the Merc 150 horse and fits snug.

This Mercury cover is really nice. It appears to be of heavy duty fabric and feels thick. It's been holding very well and fits very well on the motor cowl. The cover is definitely tight. I mean to the point where I thought I might have ordered the wrong size. However, read the instructions and have perseverance. Eventually, you will get it on inch by inch and it will fit. Once on, the cover looks really nice and it has held up for the season. Stays on and has not flown off while towing the boat at 80mph, as I hate to lose this expensive cover. Everything about the cover is great but the cost of it is probably the worse con, as it is expensive and I believe you're probably just paying for the Mercury name & logo, which does look nice and is well printed on the cover.
