Taste is a little different but combined with lots of spices and other ingredients, my dish was surprisingly good. I will reorder because of the addition of proteins is important.

I wanted to love this but unfortunately it tastes bad. It might be the lupin flour but for me it was over powering and not what I expected. I would not buy again or recommend.

So pleasantly surprised!!! With low carb you wonder what you'll get...but this was a bonus buy!!!! The noodles were el dante when done, perfect. The cheese sauce was great tasting (add sour cream and it'll be fantastic) You may find that you'll want to add a little more milk as the cheese gets sticky a little dry as it sits if you like it creamy. I love mac & cheese so when we went low carb I was so upset. Not any more!!!! These are as easy as making normal mac & cheese. My husband and I made 2 boxes at a time and we had some left over for later. They need to package it in a set of 4 because most families will need that to feed all of them. It's a bit pricey but let me tell you...this will be a staple in my house from now on!!!! Very good!!!! Sooooo happy!!!

This product has lots of mixed reviews. I love it! The texture is allitle different but thats what you get if you want a truly healthy alternative. It always makes my gut feel better and allows me to still eat a comfort food 😋

Here’s the thing. If you want a classic Mac & cheese aka: Kraft in a box, this isn’t gonna do ‘ya. When it comes to low carb or “healthy“ options I keep my expectations in check. Knowing this, I decided not to try this stuff on its own, or as the main event so to speak. I found this recipe for chili mac that was created specifically for the kaizen product - and I love it. Mixed with an easy to prepare and very tasty chili, it makes a whole meal. I brown some beef, throw in a few spices and buy a bag of frozen onions and peppers and I’m good to go. I’m not saying you can’t just mix up a pot of this stuff and eat it for lunch; you totally can! The texture is not “mushy“ as other reviewers have wrongly stated. The texture is more akin to beans. In fact it’s exactly that, because it is beans. I happen to like beans and eat them all the time, so no problem there. So again, with expectations in check I have bought kaizen’s mac and cheese many times, and will continue to purchase more. I also like the rice very much. It helps me maintain a more healthful diet and I don’t miss the “real” thing at all. I’ll still enjoy real pasta now and again (especially when out at restaurants) but this stuff is an excellent option for meals at home. This undoubtedly is the best tasting Macaroni and Cheese I have ever had - keto or otherwise. Just remember that the serving portion on the box is a true helping. The taste is so good I wanted to eat it all, but it is so filling that it is unlikely a normal person could do so! Combine that with the high protein-low carb formula and it is a winner. I never feel bloated like a high carb pasta - especially since I have developed a problem with gluten products. Their other products are just a good too. I highly recommend trying them and Google Lupin Flour if you are not familiar with the nutritional qualities of it.

We made one box and it was disgusting. Now I’m being told I can’t return the other two. This is where I kind of crossed the line with Amazon and some of their return policies. All of the cat food and stuff I buy on a daily basis Amazon, I can buy somewhere else. And this mac & cheese was gross.
