Beach Shawl - UPF 50+ Sun Protection - Sanibel

I bought this Coolibar sun shawl for a Florida vacation, primarily as sun protection - I am light-skinned and freckled, have photosensitivity from a medical condition and more photosensitivity from medication - but I ended up using it as much more. I first used it as a blanket on the airplane, then as cover for my legs sitting out on the sun porch and at the pool. In the evening it was a warm and stylish wrap. It folds pretty compactly so I could fit it in my bag and take it out whenever needed. It is machine wash and dry and washes well. The fabric is sufficiently heavy to block the sun, but it doesn't feel particularly hot. Given its size, quality and versatility, I thought the price was reasonable. I look forward to using it regularly when the weather gets warm here in the Northeast. Highly recommended.

Perfect size & weight to use from traveling on a plane to sitting on the beach or enjoying an outdoor event. Soft cotton and nicely finished. Love that it has sun protection. Can’t wait to use it more!

It does what it's supposed to do; covers my upper body and protects it from the sun. It is a good size and can be worn multiple ways. It can also be worn as a shawl in the evening when cool, it is very versatile. A bit expensive for a large piece of fabric and not sure that it is better sun protection than a piece of poly-cotton fabric.

Material is nice and soft however was not a good fit for me since I am 4'7 and it fits like a blanket length wise it was way to long want done to my knees if I tried to wear it like a cardigan intially I thought it was a cardigan since I was looking forward to using since I have 3rd degree burns to my upper extremity and need to protect from the sun

This is my third one! Love the color choices and size. Soft and comfy and love that it has 50 sun protection Folds up easy and small to put on purse or travel with. Highly recommend

I have been looking for a long, light weight wrap for travel. I have broad shoulders so I need something very long to wrap around me. I read the other reviews and bought this one. I am thrilled. It is very lightweight and rolls up tightly. Perfect for a carry on. It is very long and wide, so it can double has a blanket on the plane or a shawl at an elegant dinner. The fabric is very soft and flows around the body nicely. This is a must have for travel and for around town. I only wish it came in every color of the rainbow.

Can fold in a small piece and put in the car, ready for harsh sunshine anytime.
