I’m an American living in Britain; Tide is a Necessity! Overpriced but I only use on my laundry, my husband hates it so I use regular British brand detergent on his clothes. He hates Tide! More for me!

we used these in the us but the smell is not as strong as it used to be there. the tide used in the use is definitely of a different quality i suppose.

Tide Pods are my go-to laundry detergent, and I honestly don’t see myself switching to anything else. They are incredibly convenient because you just toss one in the washing machine and never have to worry about measuring out liquid detergent or making a mess. My clothes always come out smelling fresh and feeling clean, even after tough workouts or everyday wear. I’ve also noticed that they do a great job removing stains without needing to pretreat most of the time. And I have never had any skin irritation with this product. One of my favorite things about Tide Pods is how consistent they are. They dissolve well in the wash, leave no residue behind, and my laundry always looks and smells great. The container lasts a long time, making it a good value despite costing a little more than some other brands. I’ve tried less expensive detergents before, but I always end up coming back to Tide because the cleaning performance is noticeably better. Overall, this is a product I continue to repurchase, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for an easy, effective laundry detergent.

I bought this product in the Spring Meadow scent. Nice, lightly floral, doesn't clash with my dryer sheet scent. I also like the Ocean Breeze Pods, a sporty, crisp scent. I really like the ease of use of this product: flip open lid of container, remove one Pod, and drop into washer. The Pod dissolves completely in cold water washes, there's no remanent blob of whatever the outside of the Pod is made of to be found melded onto an article of wet clothing afterwards. Pros: No measuring out of extra brightening product needed, it's in there. No messy spilling or dripping of detergent on surfaces, everything is contained inside the Pod. It cleans dirt and oil and tomato sauce off clothing very well, it's a Tide product after all. Cons: Can't add "just a little more detergent" if you are washing a slightly dirtier/smellier than usual load of laundry (dog bedding). You have to use two Pods. The biggest con is all the fuss being made that it resembles candy and that children may be tempted to eat a Pod. Talk about a steep learning curve. Yikes! KEEP OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN!

To summarize, This is very High Performance and very convenient laundry detergent. We have used Tide Original HE Laundry Detergent for years. But we are totally sold for the convenience and performance of this product. There is no need to lift and carry those heavy liquid laundry detergent containers and no need for measuring cups. Just toss a 3-in-1 pack into the washer to clean, brighten and fight stains. Use two pacs for large loads and three pacs for extra-large loads. Convenience is one part and Of course, product performance is most important and I must say that it works exceedingly well as long as you put right numbers of pods per load size. This particular pods are 3-in-1 that means it is Detergent + Stain Removal + Brightener. It provides consistently good cleaning results every wash including large bedding. Stain remover and brighter works well and we can see it on white clothes. We have also tried 4-in-1 version which adds febreeze odor remover as well and can highly recommend that as well if odor is concern. It can be used in both HE and No-HE machines. It can be used in both Hot and Cold Waters. It can be used in both front and Top loading machines. Isn't that convenient? Product costs slightly more but again it is 3-in-1 and highly convenient to use.
