Life saver
Great olive puller. Always used cutters in the past but didnโt have the access on this occasion and this was a life saver.

Great piece of kit
I was sceptical at first looking at one of these. But with my latest job o needed one so thought I might give it a go. What a great piece of kit made removing the copper olives ( one of which was crushed) so quick and easy. Would defo recommend anyone needing to remove compression fittings etc to get one of these. Donโt go for cheaper ones you know the saying you get what you pay for!!

Does the job every time, just like it should.
Takes a a bit of figuring out when using one for the first time but excellent quality and does the job great. Used it for 22mm and 15mm olives.

Ideal for shorter pipework
I have been using the Rothenberger olive splitter which is a fantastic tool (perfect for pipes 15mm to 28mm), but there are times when the nut is covering the olive necessitating use of either grinder or hacksaw if it is preferred not to replace the section of pipe. This tool takes care of those problems. Very simple to use (much safer than saw or grinder) and small and neat. On the occasion a little more leverage is required I have resorted to removing tommy bar and using a Philips driver (comfier on the hand too). A few 15mm pipes have needed a little widening before fitting tool (compressed with cutting device), but this has been minimal. Mine (supplied by Amazon) is more like the Silverline model in appearance (ribbed) with two flats on both middle and lower bodies of the tool, not the full hex shown. Those flats are needed at times to separate the two parts of the body of the tool or the fitting nut from the tool. A real time saver and, most importantly, no damage to the pipework.

Works in only limited situations.
Don't get me wrong, when it works, it works, but this product is a weird one. It only works if the olive is a few centimetres within the edge of a cut pipe. If it's in any deeper then this tool won't be long enough to grab it and makes it useless. An olive cutter would be better. And why is this tool trying to "save" an olive by pulling? I don't see how I can save money reusing an olive, something that's not recommended in the first place. You would have to use new olives anyway. The only situation I can see this tool being useful is if the space you're working in is restricted, but again, that's if the tool can reach the olive in the first place.
