It may not be 100% real hair, but it’s enough real hair that you can bleach it and whatever else and it’s fine. so that was what I was looking for with the comments and it does everything you’re gonna need to do. Very standard typical doll head like what I’ve been getting for years reminds me of the old Debbie doll we got in Beauty School 10+ years ago I didn’t see any like weird fibers. It seems fine like I said, maybe not every single strand is human hair but most of it is like almost all of it. It works like it. Should it bleachers colors all that good stuff the length is like what shoulder length would be on a human definitely not super thick, but like I said your average doll head. I bleached just the back. It’s very dry but I did leave the bleach on for like an hour or so that’s to be expected. Also didn’t condition it because you know it’s a doll and I don’t want it. Use my nice conditioner. I had gone to Sally’s but didn’t realize that we used to be a $30 doll head is now somewhere around $80 so I came on here and found this. I would say it’s great for any Beauty School styling needs.

This 20–22” female mannequin training head is excellent quality. The 100% human hair feels soft, thick, and realistic, making it perfect for practicing styling, braiding, curling, and cutting. The length is great to work with, and it holds styles very well. Ideal for beginners, students, or anyone wanting to improve their skills. Definitely worth the purchase!

I bought these to use in my Cosmetology classes because they were about $7 cheaper than the manikins my school bookstore sells, their hair is longer, and they have different hair colors available. I have now purchased a total of 5 in the various colors and I’m definitely happy with them. In my opinion, the price is well worth the quality and I am happy that I will be able to get a couple extra cuts out of these thanks to their length. They come with a table attachment stand- which I don’t need, but is a nice bonus. The hair on this manikin is dense- more per square inch than on the other manikins I’ve used. I’ve bought every shade except the ‘dark brown’, and they are all exactly as pictured. A couple of things to note/possible cons: - The hair is dryer than other manikins I’ve used. I primarily used the Marianna ‘Whitney’ manikins in the past in case that reference helps you! This isn’t a deal breaker- but more of an FYI- You’ll want to shampoo her thoroughly before starting a cut or style. In class, I shampoo her before demos- and by the time I’m working on her (anywhere from 15-20 minutes later), her hair has air dried a good but- so keep your spray bottle handy! On the 2 darkest manikins, I’ve noticed a little bit of black residue gets stuck in the finer teeth of my cutting comb and almost clogs it up. I’m sure a few more shampoos and this issue will be resolved- but it’s annoying when you’re in haircutting mode and then have to swap combs or stop and clean your comb. The only other con I’ve had was when razor cutting this manikin. As with pretty much all manikin heads, the hair texture will dull your tools faster than if you were cutting real human hair. This seemed to be the case when razor cutting. I had to change my blade 1/3 of the way through my cut in order to keep going. Not sure if this was due to the manikin’s hair or my actual razor- most likely a combination- but either way, worth noting! Overall, 4/5 stars based on my experience- but I still think they’re a solid buy & the price works well with my budget!

We’re incredibly pleased with this product. Hair securely on mannequin head, very few strands come out when brushing. I will say the length of hair is a bit shorter than what is pictured - I got the longest length available. It’s not a deal breaker though. Still long enough for a pony tail and all sorts of other practice. The face is still a tad creepy, but less off putting than some of the other options with other companies. The mount works perfectly on my table. Overall, very pleased with the quality! Thanks!

I bought this mannequin head for my daughter to use in her school elective, and it has been absolutely perfect for practicing different techniques. The hair feels realistic and has held up well to constant brushing, sectioning, washing, blow-drying, and styling. She’s been able to practice everything from curling to updos, and it gives her the hands-on experience she needs without the stress of working on a real person just yet. The clamp is sturdy enough to keep the head in place on a table, and the length of the hair is great for learning both short and long styles. My daughter’s confidence has really grown since using this, and it’s been amazing to watch her skills improve each week. If you have a student in cosmetology or even just someone who loves experimenting with hairstyles, this mannequin is a fantastic investment. It’s already proving to be an essential tool for her training.

This mannequin is advertised as human hair, but after examining it and working with it, the hair is actually synthetic. The mannequin itself does not sit well on my stands because the stand hole is too wide for the stands I have either purchased myself or provided to me through school. This problem has caused my mannequin to shift while working with it. Lastly, while combing and sectioning the hair, the shedding was out of control. I spent more time picking hair out of my comb and brush than actually brushing it. Still though, this mannequin helped me pass my first practical test even with the struggles I had because I was able to get overnight shipping.

Very bad !!!!! As mentioned in description the hair is original- it is not true !!! Never advice to buy it !!!!! You can’t use it for training because you are not be able to dye it or bleach it!

Good product hair front is longer than the back which can be improve to have more at the back.
