I’ve used a few different laundry scent boosters over the years, and this ARM & HAMMER Clean Scentsations In-Wash Scent Booster in Purifying Waters is one that really impressed me with how fresh and long-lasting the scent is. The Purifying Waters fragrance is light, clean, and relaxing. It has a subtle blend of lavender, jasmine, and a crisp ocean-like freshness that doesn’t smell overly strong or artificial. Clothes come out of the washer smelling clean rather than heavily perfumed, which I prefer. Using it is simple—just sprinkle the scent crystals directly into the washer before adding clothes. They dissolve easily even in cold water, and I’ve had no issues using them in an HE washing machine. The crystals dissolve completely without leaving residue behind. What really stands out is how long the scent stays on clothes. Towels, bedding, and everyday laundry keep that fresh smell even days later in the closet. It works especially well on items that tend to hold odors like gym clothes or kitchen towels. I also appreciate that it’s infused with ARM & HAMMER baking soda, which helps with freshness and odor control rather than just masking smells. The bottle is also made with 50% recycled plastic, which is a nice environmental touch.
