UPDATE JANUARY 2023: This little milk maker is still going strong! I use it religiously and it'snever given me problems. I even (accidentally) got the head of the unit wet; it glitched out at first, but I let it dry out and it's been fine ever since. When this unit goes bad, I will absolutely buy another! UPDATE APRIL 2022: I definitely don't regret this purchase! I did have a minor incident where the screen wasn't locked securely in place (my fault) and came off during the grinding process. That action caused the blades to poke a hole through my screen. Since this unit comes with 2 screens (one for nut and one for rice milk) I just started using the rice milk screen to make my nut milk and honestly, I don't see the difference. I still need to buy the extra screen to have on hand, but I believe I have to do this through the manufacturer; extra screens are not sold on Amazon (as of this writing.) This is STILL a wonderful purchase for me. It's sturdy, easy to operate, simple to clean, and will save me hundreds of dollars a year, with an extra bonus of not having to throw away hundreds of wax containers a year. ORIGINAL REVIEW FROM SEPTEMBER 2021: Pros: * Easy to clean. Not sure why some of these reviews talk about it being hard to clean. Very simple, even the filter. * Easy to use. I make oat milk and I use oat groats to do it. Rolled oats made a slimy mess for me. I use 1 cup of oat groats, fill the water to the first fill line inside the carafe, press MILL 6 times (it grinds for a few seconds then stops. I repeat this process 6 times for thicker milk), then add 1 teaspoon of pink salt and 1/2 teaspoon of stevia, and sometimes I'll also add 1 teaspoon of vanilla. Then voila! We have fresh oat milk everyday in 2 minutes. Cons: * one batch makes just a little over a 1/2 gallon. You have to make 2 batches if you go through it quicker, but it's not that much more time or effort to do so. * this may seem silly but the MILK and the MILL button are right next to each other and to make nut milk, you have to use the MILL button. I haven't made anything with the MILK button so not even sure what that does. I only mention this because it was confusing in the vague instructions, and MILK and MILL or similar words with (apparently) two different functions. It would be easy to accidentally press the wrong button. * which leads me to the last con which is poor instructions. The instructions themselves aren't horrible, but there's no recipe or anything inside to use as a guideline. I created my recipe through trial and error. It's a great purchase. Has saved me a ton of money from having to buy oat milk at the store, and I'm no longer throwing out oat milk containers. I've used it every day for 3 months and have not had any issues. Very happy with my choice in nut milk makers.

Saves money, time & pleases the tastebuds
I absolutely love this machine!! I have not used it to make soy milk though. I am a raw foodist so I got this amazing little time saver to make raw almond milk, nut butters, and for grinding flax/nuts/spices. I have found this machine to do all of these things absolutely perfectly & without any type of problem. I have had mine for 3 years and haven't had one mechanical problem. Other reviewers have complained about... The sound - I actually enjoy the sound because you can hear it working & can stop the machine if you just want a coarse grind or what not. Really it is not that loud. A sharp blade - well yeah I'm glad I haven't had to send it back to be resharpened. Just be careful when you are handling the unit and you won't cut yourself - you know how to use a knife right? Same principles apply here. Hard to clean - just make sure you clean the screens right away & don't let them sit or else it might be a bit more difficult. Most of the time I can just empty out what I was making, add water, and run to clean it thoroughly. The milk doesn't taste good - well this is probably the operators fault. There are recipes you can follow and if you expect to just throw some soy beans or almonds in there with some water and expect it to taste like the store bought with tons of other stuff added it really isn't going to happen. Try adding dates, vanilla, agave, sea salt, carob - whatever - be creative! Some have mentioned that they got water on the electrical components & had to wait for it to dry out...this has never happened to me. I would think as long as your not throwing things around and spraying water all over your kitchen you shouldn't have a problem with this...calm down, open your eyes, and operate the machine properly. I guess in today's day and age we expect everyone else to take care of everything for us while we run around like morons. This machine is very easy to use, produces great results, is fairly priced, and helps to save the environment. I highly recommend it.

Fine soymilk maker, not very helpful manufacturer
I have had this soymilk maker for maybe two years now, and I think it's a really good option for its price. It works as advertised, and with some trial and error I have figured out how to simplify the process so that prep and cleanup are easy. I have never had any problems with it boiling over. However I did have a problem with the vibration of the machine during the grinding phase making it "migrate" right off the counter and fall onto the floor making a big mess (and requiring replacement, as the screen came off and tangled in the blade and both were ruined). So now I always make sure it's on a secure spot from which it can't jump off any cliffs. If I start the beans soaking in the morning, then I'll make the milk at night before I go to bed and let it sit overnight. This is very important to simplify the cleaning process. The milk is way too hot to deal with anyway right after it's made, but when it's had a good chance to cool off, it's much easier to clean the milkscreen. At first I would spend way too long having to scrub all the little mesh holes clear again when it hadn't sat for long enough. I nearly gave up. But for whatever reason with an overnight sit, only a basic rinse and light scrub is necessary. If you just set the head with screen attached into a sturdy bowl to drip while you pour the milk out and clean out the canister (which isn't too hard to do without getting water into the electric part), then you can unscrew the screen (and press a little more soymilk out of the okara/grounds). It's not too hard to clean the head, though of course you should be careful of the sharp blade. And you can experiment with different nuts etc. I've hit on a combo of one little cup of soybeans and one ounce of raw almonds (unblanched is fine) to make a really nicely flavored soymilk. When it's done I add a pinch of salt and a spoonful of agave syrup and it's perfect for my morning tea. I have to say Tribest's customer service sucks. They don't answer emails--not a peep, nothin', despite a number of attempts--and they're not very helpful over the phone. And as another reviewer pointed out, the manual isn't that great. The instructions for making almond milk, for example, are just wrong. But the product is definitely good once you figure out how to use it.

Where have you been all my life?
This is my favorite appliance now! I’ve been using store bought almond milk for years. I never just drank it because it tasted so watery, but It seemed such a hassle to make your own. I made soy milk once and was not on a hurry to make it again. It was messy and time consuming. I heard good things about these machines and decided it was worth a try. Boy, was it! Super fast and easy. I just filled up the cup with soaked almonds, salt and maple syrup, put water in the base and pressed raw. I run it about 4 times (about ten seconds each time) and whalah...almond milk. Cleanup took about a minute tops, it just rinses right off, and the taste.... unbelievable! I can just drink this stuff straight. I suck down all the milk at the bottom of my cereal bowl, and I know there are no additives. If you’ve never tried fresh almond milk you don’t know what you’re missing. Going to try oat milk and soy milk soon, but the almond milk is so good I don’t want to stop making it and try something else. Overall, I’d definitely recommend it for anyone who drinks almond milk. The taste is so superior it’s worth the few ( and I mean few) minutes it takes to make.

not powerful enough to make soy milk. clean-up is a nightmare
i was getting sick and tired buying commercially produced non-dairy milk. store-bought vegan milk are becoming increasingly expensive, not to mention the problem with all the additives and emulsifiers like carageenan. looking for a way to make nut milk at home, i came across the tribest milk maker machine. this machine is double the price of generic nut milk makers, but it seems popular. with so many good reviews, i was sure that i found a good product. boy, was i wrong. i was primarily interested in making soy milk, as almond/cashew etc cold-brew types are easy to make in my high-powered blended. the nut maker has only 2 buttons on the top - cold and hot. pressing hot did not make any difference. the red light was still on the 'cold' setting. i was not sure if the machine will make hot milk, so i kept pressing the hot button. the light stayed on the cold setting, but the nut maker started getting hot, so somehow it new to start making a hot soy milk. according to the included instruction, this soyabella was supposed to make soy milk in 20 minutes. unfortunately, after the cycle completed the soy beans were hard and practically raw. i had to run the machine through another cycle to finally get something resembling soy milk. this machine is extremely loud, as loud as my vitamix. unlike vitamix, which is versatile, this soyabella is a one-trick pony. the worst part is the clean-up. the machine, unlike most nut makers on the market has no self-cleaning option. no matter how much i soaked it in a soapy water, how much i scrubbed, it was impossible to remove all the residue. in total, i wasted over 3 hours dealing with this failure of a nut milk maker. cant wait to send it back.

Soyabella is a great product ~ 5*****
The Soyabella nut milk maker has not failed me in the 4 years I’ve owned it. It is so convenient to use and delivers a consistent product hot or cold. I first soak then skin the almonds and the (Laura’s) soy beans adding a pinch of salt for the best flavor outcome. The motor unit is solid, the steel container is lightweight, and all the washable parts are easy to clean and store when not in use. You are grinding up nuts so it’s not going to be whisper quiet. It’s not super loud either but that is the trade off for a light weight maneuverable steel container.

Easy to use
This is the easiest way to make almond milk. There is no mess with cheese clothes, squeezing to get all the fluid out of a bag, etc. All you have to do is fill the container with water to the lines marked inside. Then using the strainer fill with what ever nuts you want to make milk from and then push the blade shaft into the strainer and make sure you lock it so it does not come loose. Press MIL button after the light comes on and 10 seconds later it will stop. Do this 3 to 5 times depending on how creamy you want the milk. The almond milk is better than buying it in the stores. This is just almonds and water, no other ingredients like what you get from buying it from the stores. Wish I had found this years ago. We make all of our own nut milks now. This is a great machine for those who want to make pure nut milks with no preservatives or other ingredients. The other benefit when you finish with it you will have the pulp from the nuts, just save it for you smoothies or you can dry it out and put it in you food processor to make flour with it. We use it for smoothies. I would also recombine to got to you-tube and watch some of the videos from experience users. It is worth it. jw

Not bad. Vitamix still looks mighty interesting.
First of all it's very confusing to use, they don't tell you what the warming 15-minute heating function is for. Umm but it says "milk" and "Mill" when making nut or seed milk it always calls for the "mill" function. I did read that the "milk" button it said it's for porridges and soups. WHY CALL IT MILK THEN?!! So I don't freaking get it. The screen gets clogged pretty fast. I tried to milsim dates into my milk and it kind of doesn't work that great. but if you just throw the dates into the already made milk then you're going to have chunks I can guarantee you that. you're supposed to put them in the stainless steel basket but the holes get clogged up I feel like they should have included maybe one more basket with bigger holes. I'm not sure if it would help though. It has no instructions for making seed milk. What a nightmare cleaning this thing is. Don't get this wet, or this part! What a terrible design. I absolutely hate it. It does make tasty milk. and of course there's nothing here you can't do with a blender and some cheese cloth or a fine strainer. this is supposed to take the hassle out of it and although they have cool little holders for the strainers and a cool little cap for the motor part I just feel like if it was easier to wash and didn't clog the screen so fast it would be way better. I was making flaxseed milk and the problem with that is it gets clogged with the jelly substance really fast so I soaked my flax seeds overnight and rinse them really well and got most of the slime off the flax seeds and it came out a lot better. I think at a lower purchase price this would be worth it. But honestly I've heard really good things about just using a Vitamix and straining with cheesecloth. Problem of the Vitamix has those are a few hundred dollars. but if you're making smoothies and shakes and your own milk it kind of is worth it I think that is probably what I'm going to do when my blender dies is just buy a top-of-the-line badass Vitamix. 😯 This is going to save me quite a bit of money though, at $5 a half gallon for flax milk and I drink two to three containers a week this is easily going to pay for itself in time.

Outstanding
It makes many different kinds of vegetable milk and also cooks warm preparations like oat flake. Very easy to use and incredibly rapid. The customer service of the producer is also extremely helpful. I have already recommended the product to friends

Fantastica!!!
Ottima!!!
