Nice watch. Face is big enough it is easy to read. The band doesn't leave any room for expansion. Fits my wrist but couldn't be any smaller.

This watch is inferior quality. I have had kiddie character watches that cost 1/3 the price of this watch that lasted over a year with daily use. I had two of these identical watches and neither held up with normal use. The cover over the watch face of the first one fell off somehow. It wasn't dropped, banged, or any even exposed to moisture. The band was too big for my wrist, so I wore it high up on my forearm. So when the watch face and moving parts were exposed, Amazon replaced it for me. The second watch just stopped ticking less than two months after I started wearing it to work. Again, no mistreatment or mishandling, just stopped, as if the battery was mostly dead when I got it. I expect a watch to last at least a year, and this one, two of the same, didn't last more than two months. I chose it only for the light-up feature because I am a nurse working night shift. I chose a bad product. Don't buy it! I wouldn't buy it again for even a small fraction of the price.

I love my watch. The letters are almost bold enough to see in the dark. I never had a watch with it's own lighted numbers so you can imagine I used it a LOT. But maybe six months later, the light stopped working. It's still a good watch for the money. But now im spoiled and looking for another one that lights up.

UPDATE: After 2 months-or-so of constant wearing, one of the sides of the watch has some of its black paint scraped off. 2nd UPDATE: two weeks after the first update, the black continues to flake off and now about a quarter of the black paint is gone in splotches. 3rd Update. Because I was looking after my mom in the hospital and then in her home, My watch was leaving bits of black paint over her bedding and room. It was a concern so I just stopped wearing it. Now, 1.5 years later I found the watch again and it is still running and the light still comes on when I press it. Usually the button-light-up function wears out a battery pretty fast. I guess if the flaking paint was not a problem, this would be okay. But I'm wearing a different watch now with a plastic band and face. Original review: The second hand jumps forward for each second, instead of smooth sweep, which is expected of watches that run on batteries. The glass face is convex enough that from one angle, it looks like those old Coke-bottle glasses used to look. The watch band is too large for my wrist. There is one button to adjust the time and a second push button to light the face of the watch,. It stays lit for 4 seconds, after pressing the button. If I could take 4 of the expansion bars out, it would fit better. There are no instructions on how to do that. It looks like I could compress the spring that holds the watch onto the band and replace it with a band that fits better. I really was looking for an inexpensive watch that would light when I want to see the time at night or in dark places. So, It is pretty much what it says it is, so maybe 4 stars is fine. It is inexpensive and it does light up when I want to see the time in the dark.

Poison battery, dangerous and may start fires. No light up at night and no directions. Doesn't work. I was thrilled to finally find a single watch I could read and read at night. None of these work.
