Ronseal Permanent Wood Knot Block Primer & Undercoat White (250ml)

So relieved this worked and blocked the yellowing effect of the pitched pine I was painting over bleeding through. I was able to use it without stripping the paint off again.

It's very watery paint,doesn't cover knot in first coat,but second coat covers,it's a good name on paint can,ronseal.

I bought this to paint old pine wardrobe doors. Having sugar soaped the doors first to remove dirt and grease I then painted two coats of the primer. The paint is quite thick but goes on easily. I put more primer on the knots but the time covered well with paint left over. I then painted a matt finish paint over. So far no knots are showing a month later (I still have another coat to paint of the matt paint but haven’t found the time!). I am happy with this product.

Tin is a lot smaller than I thought, but guess that’s my error. Quality wise it was good - went far coverage wise, and easy to clean off brushes and apply. Not sure on longevity of the cover, been a month now and good so far

Fantastic product especially with knotting included. I used this product for painting over knotted pine and it was so easy to use and covered so well. I will always use this product in future.

Stir well before use,3 to4 coats brilliant result
