Omg this ice is so perfect! it can seem a little noisy when you’re by yourself but it is relatively low. Not exactly sonic ice but still soft like the sonic ice! Will update if there are any problems.

GREAT NUGGET ICE MACHINE!!!
Love the Zafro 35.5lb/24hr Nugget (grey) ice machine!!! No complaints in regards to this counter top ice machine!! Was purchased in February, and it's been running 24hrs a day since it's arrival. Yes, it does have a buzzing/noise sound...but you get used to it. Sounds like a fan. It does shut off once there is maximum ice. As the ice melts, it will make more ice. It does make a re-booting buzz sound when this happens. **I DO NOT USE TAP WATER. I read up, that the best water for ice machines, is distilled water. So Distilled water it is. The ice tastes clean, and crisp!! Also purchased Descaling tablets for inner machine cleaning, for once a month cleaning. Great purchase/happy customer!!

Only worked for 8 months!
PLEASE READ This ice machine worked fine for about 8 months. It started making a really obnoxious noise and quit producing ice. The manufacturer suggested I clean it with vinegar. That did not resolve the issue. I was told it is probably an issue with the motor and was only offered a 30% refund . I expected more than 8 months of service when the machine was almost $200. Very poor customer service and company accountability. DO NOT WASTE YOUR $$$on this product. Now I have lukewarm drinks until I can purchase a better ice machine

Very loud, but makes awesome ice
I love the ice it makes. I am actually drinking more water because of the ice chips. My only complaint…it is very loud. I read the reviews about it being loud, but figured I could handle it. I now only turn it on when I know I’m going to need it.

18 month life expectancy…….
This was my second ice maker purchase on Amazon, the reviews made me think this one would last longer than my first purchase. I bought this in December 2024, it is now May 2026 and this machine has become unbearably loud. The machine never stops running, it fills my house with a ridiculous Ly loud whining all night. It seems these counter ice makers have a less than 2 year life expectancy, plan on that when you are making your decision to purchase one.

I love my machine. Been using it for over a year and still running strong. I use it everyday. Got it when pregnant and craving that nugget crunchy ice. Now I use it to cool all the reusable water bottles.
