Very nice stand, should last a long time.
Simple, effective, and nice in appearance. It holds five full-size guitar cases and stands freely, without needing to rest against a wall. Exactly what I was looking for. Easy assembly with screws and pre-drilled holes, with included glue to reinforce the joints, where needed. All of the visible wood pieces were very comparable in color/shading; only one piece was (a tiny bit) different in shade, but it was the stringer which runs across the back and provides support to the overall frame. Given that this piece is hidden by the guitar cases when in use, this isn't an issue to me. I suspect it would not even be noticeable to somebody who didn't assemble the unit. I only mention it since all the other pieces were of such high consistency, and this was a deviation in the product. If I need another rack, I'll look to get another one of these.

Great case holders
These case holders are excellent. They are solid wood, stained beautifully, and are smooth to touch. I have always kept my guitars on wall hangers and kept my house perfectly climate controlled at 50 % humidity, but have experienced binding edge lift on two of my Martin acoustics. Living in the northeast I have decided to case the guitars in the winter months. If you want an easy way to case and store your guitars neatly these holders are for you. The price is great considering the amazing wood quality. Assembly is simple taking about 10 minutes.

Exactly what I was looking for!
I have a small home studio which had guitar cases all over the place so I wanted to organize them. This rack was perfect for the job! It was fairly easy to assemble (I am a senior-aged woman with a bit of handiness), but I did take the advice of a previous reviewer and put it together first and then added the glue once it was assembled (to avoid any errors). I was glad I did that because even though I did not make any mistakes, I can see where that could happen. I also had to screw the wing-nut bolts into their holes before putting the piece together because the threads were a bit off. Once I did that, that part went together easily. I would highly recommend this product for both quality of the wood (looks amazing), the functionality of the rack and the cost is very reasonable.

Sweet little product! But beware if you expect to put it flush against a wall!
This thing is pretty bada$$, I’m not gonna lie. Sure you could make something similar yourself for less money if you have the tools and skills. But this is really nice for what it is. Idk what kind of wood it is- but mine is super flamey like a highly figured maple top guitar. The whole thing is made of highly figured wood, it looks very premium. It feels really sturdy also. It really will hold 5 guitar cases too. As you can see it will hold both shaped cases and rectangular ones. I would only say one thing in caution to a potential buyer. You’re gonna have to keep it about 6”-8” away from the wall if you want non-square cases to rest snugly in it without hitting your wall. So if you are expecting to put this flush against your wall- that ain’t gonna happen unless you have all rectangular type cases. But if you do keep it far enough from the wall to account for guitar-shaped cases then it’s gonna hold them very securely. I’ll take a video and show you that they do sit very securely. Just don’t expect to put it flush against your wall with guitar-shaped cases. I only mention that because I myself was buying it and planning to put it in a spot where I needed it against the wall, and I ended up having to find a different spot for it.

Big Buck Banger
The String Swing CC29 is by far the least expensive inhabitant of its ecological niche. The pictures suggested that it might be less than optimally stable, but I gave it a try as I needed three, and three of any of the competition would have been ruinously expensive. Also, the CC29 is made of Ash, and what Telecaster geek does not love Ash? After building and employing them I conclude that something more butch would better serve in a high traffic area such as a guitar store or music school, but for my purpose in my private guitar room they do the job just fine. This may not be necessary, but I deployed those guitars in hard cases at the ends of each rack to add a bit'o'lateral stability, with gig-bagged instruments betweenst. I recommend first assembling the racks without glue for a couple of reasons. The CC29 is a pretty simple device and the instructions are pretty good; nonetheless I managed to make a couple of mistakes the first time, which would have been a problem had I glued my mistakes into place. I assembled mine first without glue, made sure everything lined up, then backed off the screws enough to put a gap between the parts, applied adhesive, tightened back up, and let it dry. The Gorilla Glue supplied expands a bit as it dries, and if one applies enough it can ooze out a bit while drying, resulting in somewhat unsightly joins. It is also difficult to apply the glue accurately straight from the tube. I squoze some glue onto a bit of aluminium foil, applied glue sparingly to the rack via a toothpick, then tightened the screws back up. This produced a secure, sturdy join without unlovely ooze. If my GAS flares up and I buy more guitars I will not hesitate to purchase another CC29. How many guitars do I need? Just one more, of course.

Exactly what I needed!
5 acoustic guitars -- 5 cases. Years of sticking cases in closets and under the bed, with the guitars on a series of stands that work OK, but take up way too much space. Keeping them in their cases but still out for easy access, with one or two stands for the one(s) I'm actually playing daily. Also keeps all the instruments ready at hand when it's time for lessons or jamming. Might not work well for everybody, but worked great for me! The stand is made of solid ash, and the 6 pieces are nicely finished with rounded edges and smooth surfaces. I especially liked the oil/wax finish as opposed to a varnish, stain, or shellac, allowing the wood to breath so it will last longer and not split or crack from dryness. Instructions for assembly were spot-on -- but do pay attention to details on orientation of the pieces relative to one another when putting them together. Pay special attention to the attachment of the beveled side pieces and the front piece at the bottom, for example. If the wing nuts won't catch in the bolt threads with the washers beneath them, for instance, the side pieces are rotated incorrectly. The LARGER countersink holes for the bolts face to the OUTSIDE of the stand, not to the INSIDE -- I learned that the hard way by not reading instructions closely enough. I chose NOT to use the Gorilla glue as directed, however: I prefer to keep the ability to disassemble the rack for easier packing and moving, which we expect to be doing in the next few months.

Sturdy rack for Instruments in Cases
Very sturdy with lovely finish. One person can put together. Many instruments fit on rack. Light to move, if needed. Can fold up to move. Simple lines that goes with many decors. Great rack, I bought a second one.
