Perfect For My Electric Fence Install
Found these much cheaper on this site as opposed to electric company fence sites. Used it on my timeless fence high-tensile wire install.

Be careful not to over tighten it will break
They are aluminum. If you tighten down to much it will crack. Once I understand this, I just made it very snug. It has been a product I've done as I needed.(holding on to two stainless steel cables together)

High Quality
Easy to use and very sturdy. I used this for fence repair, joining wires/cables, and for making wire rope loops. Highly recommend these!

Don't buy these if you care about your animals
I built a fence 10 years ago using using Kencove stainless split bolts. They cost twice as much as these, so I thought I'd try to save a bit of money and go with the galvanized "steel" bolts this time. Guess what? They're made of pure Chineseum. If you try to tighten them enough that they won't back off and come loose in 6 months, the bolts sheer off. So here's the math: You can either A), buy these THEN go get the good ones that cost twice as much -or- B) Buy the good ones from the start and save 33%. The cheap way out is to NOT buy this trash.

Serves it’s purpose but made of very weak metal.
Works good but have to be very careful not to over tighten. The bolt will smash and damage the threads.
