Maybe unbeatable at this price point…
In short; For the price I just can’t see how you could get a better controller. Especially when this controller is reduced it’s half the price of the G7 Pro and yet is 90% of the controller. It’s a super responsive and well-spec’d controller with hardly any negatives at the price point. I bought the white model just for a change and it looks great with the gold accents and grey thumb sticks. The ‘rough’ dimpled texture on the controller for grip is excellent, the buttons are really nice with a shallow click and the 3.5mm jack is really nice. My only negative is I wish it had lockable back buttons but I also acknowledge that if they gave this controller all the features of the G7 Pro no one would ever buy one! You can tell they’ve held back a little bit in the overall ‘quality’ when I compare it to my Tarantula Pro which feels a more premium product… But again, at a lower price point that is completely acceptable and I just can’t fault the Cyclone 2 for the price paid. If you’re unsure whether to buy one, just do it. There is no way you could possibly regret the purchase unless you have wildly unrealistic expectations. I’ll be sure to update this review if things change!

GameSir Cyclone 2 – Versatile, Customizable, and Great Value
The GameSir Cyclone 2 is an excellent multi-platform controller with a solid build quality and a wealth of customization options. It offers configurable profiles for both button mappings and LED colours, though it's worth noting that these settings are independent—you can't link an LED colour profile to a specific button profile. However, customization is straightforward using either the built-in controls or the GameSir software, which is available on the Microsoft Store and makes configuration a breeze. On my PC, the controller works flawlessly via the 2.4GHz dongle, providing a stable and responsive connection. I also use it via Bluetooth on my Android tablet, where it functions as a PS4 controller and is recognized natively by COD Mobile. Switching between devices is easy using simple button combinations (Mem + B for PS4 Bluetooth, Mem + X for Xbox via the dongle), making it incredibly versatile. While I’ve occasionally had to re-pair the tablet when switching back to Bluetooth, it generally connects without issue. One of the standout features is button remapping, allowing you to program the rear buttons and create multiple profiles tailored to different games. The included desktop stand is also a great touch—besides providing a convenient place to store the controller, it houses the dongle, making for a clean, single USB-C connection for both charging and wireless PC gaming. While the Cyclone 2 is packed with features, I found it slightly less comfortable compared to other controllers I’ve used (PS4, PS5 Edge, 8BitDo Ultimate 2C). The L2 (LT) and R2 (RT) trigger corners feel a bit sharp, which can cause discomfort during extended play sessions if your fingers aren’t positioned just right. That said, after some adjustment, I got used to it. Despite minor ergonomic concerns, the GameSir Cyclone 2 is a fantastic value-for-money controller. Its multi-platform compatibility, robust customisation options, and useful accessories make it an ideal choice for gamers who switch between devices but want to maintain a consistent button mapping experience. Highly recommended!

Good controller, worth the moneys
Just a really nifty controller. Great battery life and having the charging stand is extremely helpful. You put the dongle into the charging stand then put the charging stand into your pc and it just auto connects when you place the controller on the stand. Super nifty The controller has 4 different modes. Xbox, switch, ps4, android. If youre on pc youll probably want to switch to Xbox for the xinput unless you're a weirdo who uses the dualshock input even tho most games wont accept it aha. Really sleek looking controller, you can download the app and change around the rgb speed and colours. However the app is really strange and its almost like some sort of asian malware. Would watch out for that. Ive had no issues with it since though. Definitely worth getting if you're looking at decent pc controllers

Just what i needed ...
Worked straight out of the box, no fiddly calibrations, recognised by games even when multiple controllers available, easy layout for small hands, and very smooth control of sticks and buttons. Simply a lovely controller - I would recommend it to anyone. Lighting options with the app - I was happy with the defaults.

Comfortable controller with good battery life. Can't get paddle buttons to work in PC Games.
Picked this up when my old Xbox One controller developed sticky triggers. I really like this controller. It's very comfortable. The battery life is decent and I'm a big fan of the charging dock that comes with it. It has LED lights that can be configured in multiple ways. It also has two extra paddle buttons on the underside which feel good but don't seem to work in games unless you use the gamesir software to assign them to another button or key. You can get it to work I would have preferred if it was independent. The bluetooth connection uses a dongle and It worked for me flawlessly. The gamesir software is kind of clunky and could be more intuitive. It's not always clear what does what.

Best PC Controller I've ever had?
Probably the best controller I've ever had? I went through loads trying to find the right balance of modern magnetic sticks/triggers (so no drift) but with the correct resistances for my needs. The sticks on this feel outstanding (precise yet not loose) , the various buttons have a lovely tactile feel and the triggers have equal resistance throughout the pull making them great for racing games. The triggers can also be switched to microswitch mode, which is useful. The lithium battery charge has literally never run out, and the stand pad sits on to recharge looks good too. I honestly wouldn't know it wasn't wired, it feels so crisp. 10/10

Solid controller, great build, nice and tactile, *until it wasn't*
edit: While the below was true, I was having some slight issues with the sticks spinning in usage, not really an issue as the movement to do that was rare enough that I rarely notice it; But, I came to the controller today to notice that one of the sticks had fallen off, when I was trying to record the issue to show it, the other stick spun off and ended up with a small bit of the stem falling off. Was looking for a wireless controller so that I could play games across my deck and PC with the same general controls, a dock felt like a bit of an essential, somewhere for it to call home, hall effect sticks make me feel a bit more confident when the time comes to toss it in my bag on a trip. It generally just looked like a solid option. I've had this thing for a few weeks now, the one thing I wish it came with that it didn't would be a quick hot-button guide, so I don't have to unfold a giant manual or keep a PDF on my phone. I did accidentally start the device up in PlayStation mode, which was confusing. Outside of that, the device feels solid, the buttons have a robust and tactile click when using them, trigger stops are only something I've quickly toyed with, but they seem to work well and give a nice solid clicky feedback. Rebinding keys isn't something I've used much yet, but I did coincidentally toy with it last night. It seems handy to reassign the back buttons to functions which would require you to let go of the camera stick in 3d games. No real issues with it, connectivity has been solid, it's done what I've expected it to. The only real "could be betters" I have would be a quick reference manual I can print out or keep around with the controller; The dock is handy but it is somewhat easy for it not to seat correctly, a quick push on the controller will generally push the pins out of the way and let it seat; After a solid day of gaming, the battery is typically 50-60% remaining, so I can afford not to charge it one night, especially a work night, maybe where I have my dock makes me more likely to misangle it, but it is something to be aware of.

Good value for pc or switch gaming, the item description is shockingly accurate to reality so far
The packaging was unique and sturdy. It almost had a premium apple like feel to the box that came in. I would say I’m a tech savvy person who is kind of obsessed with tech of any sort and for some reason blow my money on it but this right here is one of the most premium controllers I felt it’s actually very good value so far I kind of bought it suddenly after my dual shock 4 controller Broke which I’ve had since 2016 but this is an insane upgrade. It connects very nicely to the PC no longer needing DS4 windows and it also smoothly switches to the switch as well. Great value would recommend only downside I can really think of so far is that the charging cable came with is rather short but everyone has a USB cable nowadays so you can just use your own.

Excellent controller
I haven't had this for very long yet but this controller is excellent. I have so many controllers (1st and 3rd party) and so far this one is my favourite. Previously my 8bitdo Ultimate was my top choice but this one has taken the crown. If PC gaming is your main focus this controller will be hard to beat. It's very comfortable to hold, similar to an Xbox controller. If you don't like the way 8bitdo controllers feel in the hand I think you'd much prefer this one. I find the 8bitdo ultimate to be comfortable but I know some people don't like the shape of them, and I do still find the Cyclone to be more comfortable. The TMR sticks are amazing, incredibly smooth and precise and should avoid stick drift issues. The buttons feel great as well with that more clicky tactile feel to them. I don't generally use back buttons but this also has 2 buttons on the back. I'm sure some people would have hoped for 4 back buttons though but the 2 that are there feel good to use. This controller also has trigger locks. There's a switch on each trigger that will change them from being standard analog triggers to clicky tactile button presses. It works great and feels nice to use. The controller also has a built in 3.5mm headphone/headset jack and it works well enough. It works in both wired and wireless mode when using the dongle (does not work when using the controller via bluetooth). It sounds good enough but it does have some noise that you can hear when the scene is completely silent. So I do wish it were a bit better but at the same time other than 1st party Xbox controllers I can't even think of another controller that has this on PC. The included dock is nice. When you pick up the controller it automatically re-connects. My only issue with this is the actual dongle itself. It's plugged into the front of the dock which is nice, but when you're not using the controller the dongle is constantly flashing to show it's not connected. If the controller dock is out of sight then that's not too bad, but if you see the dock from where you sit then it becomes extremely annoying. I've covered the dongle in electrical tape. It's stupid I had to do that, but it was simple to do and doesn't affect the signal or anything like that so good enough there I guess, but seems like a big oversight in my opinion. Other than my issue with the dongle LED, this controller is basically perfect in my opinion. It's feature rich and performs amazingly well. As long as it holds up over time (I'll update my review if it doesn't) then this controller is a no brainer, it's just so good for it's price.
