It wasn't very easy to replace the battery in my Solo 2 - and at times I was sure I broke it. Here's my tips for the next person... First, the screwdriver doesn't help with the outside screws but does work on the screws to the battery compartment. I'm not sure what the outside screws are but I managed to get them out with a combination of two hex drivers and one star-shaped driver. There's a gasket around the screen that got stretched when I pulled the unit out of the shell. I wasn't able to get it back together with that gasket but it doesn't do much anyway. The buttons would rotate when I pulled the unit out of or put the unit into the shell. With the unit mostly in, I pressed down hard on the buttons and they stayed where they were until the unit snapped into place. Don't push on them with the unit out or they'll pop off easily. It would be 5 stars if this product came with the right tool for the Solo 2 (seems the screwdriver is for the old Solo) -- and instructions. I couldn't find a video for the Solo 2 but there is a website with the disassembly process. Good luck!

Der Akku hat meinem Vapo neues wieder Leben eingehaucht. Der Einbau war supereinfach dank mitgeliefertem Werkzeug. Es wäre im Sinne der Nachahltigkeit zu schade gewesen, das gut erhaltene Gerät zu entsorgen. Der Akku hält lange durch und lädt normal und schnell.

Die gelieferten Ersatzakkus hatten ein Herstellungsdatum von 2021. 2022 hatte ich bereits ein paar dieser Akkus erhalten. Damals noch teilgeladen. Die jetzige Lieferung in 2024 mit den gleichen Akkus aus dem Herstellungsjahr 2021 sind nun nicht mehr teilgeladen sondern tiefenentladen. Dadurch hat die Kapazität der Akkus stark gelitten. Lame.
