Ginger Lily Farms Botanicals Butter Lotion, 12oz, Coco Mango

This is super thick, creamy, and awesome!!!! I love the instant relief I feel on my tired, dry hands! I also made a face lotion for aging skin with adding some essential oils, and it isn’t greasy feeling! It soaks into my skin beautifully. I like that this one I selected is unscented. It still has its natural scent but very subtle so when adding my own oils to it, they really pop out! Definitely worth the price! I will be buying this again… and again!! Thank you for excellent product!!

A nice, thick, buttery consistency, with a heavenly smell. A little bit of it goes a long way without being greasy and doesn’t make my skin oily. It also is hydrating and leaves my skin feeling soft and smooth. I look forward to using it after a bath or just as an evening routine to help me wind down and get ready for bed. It would be perfect for that!

I have only used this once. If my opinions change down the road, I will edit this review appropriately. This lotion smells very nice but not overpowering. I like the scent a lot and, oddly enough, typically, I do not like lavender. I purchased this as an experiment. I have super sensitive skin and find myself frequently irritated by dust mites in my sleep. I read they do not like lavender. So, I thought, let us see what happens if I use lavender lotion for awhile. It may not do anything for that problem since the irritation from dust mites is not from the biting me. Yadda yadda yadda.... We shall see... I will add that this lotion is "VERY THICK." I had to remove the top and struggle still to squeeze it out of the uncapped bottle rather than the smaller opening on the cap. It feels nice on my skin and absorbed pretty quickly in spite of how thick it is which seems to me to be a good thing. I love that it is a clean product and cruelty free etc.

It’s surprisingly moisturizing, left my skin soft without to much of a greasy film but there is a small tiny bit of a greasy film on my palms and finger tips if that makes you uncomfortable due to sensory issues it smells very similar to ceraV but over all pretty much scentless it has the same texture and feel as ceraV as well and they are a brand that tests on animals so this brand is an amazing alternative since it’s vegan and cruelty free

I’d been thinking about switching to a less toxic lotion as I’m pregnant. I’m very happy I found Ginger Lilly Farms butter lotion! I got the lavender chamomile scented one and love it! It’s very relaxing before bed and absorbs nicely. The price is great too! I wish I’d found it sooner.

I absolutely love this lotion! I am one of those people who can’t stand most lotions because they feel slimy to me. This did not feel slimy at all. It absorbed quickly and smells divine. I will definitely be purchasing the gallon jugs of this and the other scents in the future. I especially love that this is cruelty free.

Nice lotion. Very little scent. Not greasy and seems to be absorbed by skin easily. Okay for the price.

I noticed a few other reviews said this lotion absorbs too quickly to be used for massage, but I found a solution. By itself, this lotion is basic, and very neutral. It's unscented, feels thick enough to offer relief on dry skin, but quickly absorbs and doesn't feel greasy at all. Sometimes, that's exactly what I need. I work in for a pharmaceutical manufacturer and cannot have heavy or scented products. We aren't even supposed to wear makeup or hair products. This lotion is perfect for work because it absorbs nicely and I can still get gloves on easily. I love that this is such a great value. For the price, I can't beat the amount of lotion. It's like a lifetime supply! (Not really, but still a lot) Because I had so much to work with, I wasn't afraid to waste some and experiment with adding scents and oils. I found that adding this with a tiny bit of jojoba oil, vitamin e oil, and my favorite scent oil, to a small pump bottle, the consistency doesn't change too much, but the absorbency changes drastically. I don't need much scent because it carries through the unscented lotion nicely, like a blank canvas. The oils make it slicker and better for massage or after a shower. I'm sure I could add even more oil to get a richer result. Sometimes you actually want a greasy feeling lotion to lock in the moisture. Even with the added cost of the oils and scent, my finished product is still substantially cheaper than the lotion I was using with a similar scent, and feels so much nicer. (It's like 1/10 of the cost!) So yes, this lotion does absorb too quickly for massage, but I still recommend it. If you plan to put this in a different bottle (like a pump bottle or squeeze) I recommend cutting a small hole in the foil, close to the rim, and poking a tiny hole on the opposite side as an air vent. Then you can squeeze it from the jug right into a new container without making a mess. My foil popped off halfway through the jug, but at least the first half was easy to use.

Recommend 100% It' a lot of lotion for daily, personal and not commercial use, so will last a long time. Its silky smooth, makes my skin feel amazing! will order again!

It’s not 100% natural tbh so I switched to something else. But it is very moisturizing.

love it. no scent and good for scent customization. hydrating not too heavy texture.

Great if it could stay in stock

This came up when I was looking for new massage lotion. My old brand was discontinued so, thought I would try something new. It feels good at first but, before I'm even done my opening techniques it absorbs into the clients skin and I feel like I have sticky gecko hands. On the other hand my hands are very soft now. Maybe if there was a bit of coconut oil or something to give more glide this would work better as something beyond hand cream.
